Hey guys need a new psu since my old one packed it in last week; links to suitable products on pc case gear would be appreciated.
Current PC Specs;
Amd Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition
Corsair CMZ 1x4gb Vengeance DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte GA990DX3 Motherboard
GTX 460 1GB Graphics Card

depends on your budget and if you want to overclock, I have built towers with similar specs with cheap 450-500W PSU's that shouldn't run over 50-60 bucks. Only use those if you dont intend on overclocking

I don't want to overclock, but I don't want another dodgy psu that's going to blow up like the last one....

As I have said, I have built machines with the same PSU's that have been going for years now no worries, just depends if you have the budget for it.

at the end of the day the only thing extra you getting with the $120+ PSU's is better reassurance down the line (I mean 3+ years down the track) that it will last

I would probably get a 650W Corsair HX or Antec TP.

While the GTX460 does not need much power, the 1090T sucks a bit of juice. Also provides the expandability that you may need if you wish to SLI the GTX460 or get 2x 560 / 7770 (orwhateveritwillbecalled) in the future.

Doesn't have enough cables gumbeh and doesn't even reach all the ports, plus need lots of adaptors....
