I was playing pub and everything was working then there was a host migration , the. The Xbox froze ( first time ever) then turned it back on I and I get a loud buzzing in the headset, I can hear people talk and I can talk but there is no game volume or sound just a screeching sound. It was working fine before that and it very new .....

unplug all the cords then put them back in.

ensure your daisy chain thing is in correctly.

when its out the slightest, it causes this to happen.

i'm referring to the red thing on the bottom on the side where u plug the headset/controller cables in.

plug the optical cord in properly.

Happened to me once when I turned my xbox on it was making a horrible noise. I just turned the xbox off, unplugged EVERYTHING and reconnected it all back up. Turned the xbox on again and all was sweet.

Yeah sometimes if i somehow pull the optical cord out slightly it does something similar.
