I wanna put down the FAMAS and pick up a new gun that I can use all the time. I'm the kind of person who will stick to a gun I like and that works for me, no matter what the situation is. Does anyone else adopt this style of play? I know most people swap and change to suit the scenario.

In saying that, it's much harder than I thought it would be to find a good replacement for the FAMAS. It's a toss up between the AEK, F2000, M16A3 and KH2002.

So, what would you recommend? Or are their other guns I should be made aware of that are just as, if not more, kick ass than these four?

nope you pretty much named all the good assault rifles.
I personally think the AEK will be your best replacement for the famas but in saying that i think you should just aim for somthing like red dot sights on all those guns and then see which one you think is the best after that

M4 is my favourite, only gun I use

I have unlocked foregrip, holo and suppressor for all of them but I just still can't settle for one -_-

AEK deffs because its accuracy wont make you rage.

I'd be lying if I were to say it was a shitty gun.

Only use the famas now in scrims and when I pick it up off the ground. The F2000 is incridibly good and was probably the best prior to the famas. I dont like the KH as I can never use burst guns that well.

The second assignment gun is pretty decent the L85A2 from distance, lacks a little punch up close though.

Yeah, the rate of fire is painfully slow. But the accuracy is ridiculously awesome.

AEK has the better accuracy and awesome time to kill.. but has the longest reload time of all the ARs (and that's got me killed a few times). F2000 doesn't have the same accuracy, but it's still damn good.

Personally I fould the AN-94 awesome once you controlled your bursts depending on the situation (read: within 20m smash RT like you're pistoling someone) but haven't used it against the FAMAS and I Imagine it'd come up well short.

I was killed by a guy last night who claimed to have over 9800 kills with the F2000. Personally, he screamed booster, normally when someone uses that weapon, you see bullets miss you as it sprays a bit at range, but this guys never missed a bullet at long range, even when at top speed through scrub in a jeep... talk about annoying

I have used all of those weapons and personally, my favourite is the F2000. It is very accurate with the right attachments, powerful and has a very high rate of fire. It chews through ammo, but it is still a great gun for most close to medium range encounters, especially with the US HOLO sights, and even retains a high enough accuracy to take out mid-long range targets when pulsed.

Failing that, the AEK is probably the next best thing as it is powerful and accurate, but it's reload time can be frustrating.
