Can get one for 2nd hand 60NZD, would it run an i5 2500 system with a GTX 550-560?
From the reviews I have read it seems to be a pretty solid psu.

I would buy new but I don't have the money spare at the moment.

Thanks all. I am wondering if I could build a second decent system to take to Uni with me, this guy is also selling a Q6600 with G0 stepping (120NZD), Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3 (80NZD), Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 2x2GB (50NZD).

Not sure about the mobo but the ram and cpu are quite nice.

just keep in mind that you could build a reasonable i3 system for that sort of money brand new

Prices in NZ are ridiculous, I might be able to get the above PSU, RAM, CPU, MOBO all for 260~280NZD which is nice. Cheapest place here that sells i5's still sell them for 300+, and the performance boost from a Q6600 o/ced with after market cooling vs an i3 cannot be that impressive can it?

Yea, that doesn't look to bad. Definitely beats buying old second hand components. Might just purchase 2nd hand PSU, DVDRW, case.
