I have already found out that Nautilus backwards is Sulituan which is a species from Star Wars.

There is a thread that tells us more about him.

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=1797136

He is made by Xypherous and he explains some details about Nautilus without giving away too much.

Post your thoughts on Nautilus.

You've got to be kidding me. You did not just see the word Nautilus, and think Star Wars,
You seriously didn't think of the word Nautical...?

or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ships_named_Nautilus ?

As if red post on that thread you linked wasn't enough of a clue?
"He might wield an anchor."
