Hey CG,
I am bringing to you yet another interview from Vizual Productions from CG's own, Mauseum. I would like to thank Maus for doing the interview with me on facebook whilst pubstomping... it took a while but we got there in the end
In the interview I asked him about a fair few things both past and present and how these have effected him and his team. Enjoy
So Maus, What got you into CoD and competitive?
My older brother was quite the pubstar back in the Cod4 days and eventually he stole me from playing CSS and 1.6 on PC and converted me to becoming an ekbok nerd
Going back a fair few months ago, how did you feel when morza left the unit?
It was a disappointment to see an old friend leave the team through an argument from a fellow member. Myself and Moorey captained the team and did most of the management and recruitment types of things for the team, so after his departure it was basically all left on my shoulders, which at this stage i did not really have the time to sort all of the banter out with my other commitments
Well it looks like you arose to the challenge wel!!l
Do you think you guys are stronger now?
Shortly after Moorey left, Hacker also decided to leave us to join MF after being in the team for over a year. This was suprising, yet things were looking pretty poor for the 5 of us remaining (macka scriblz, unleash, slash and I). With only 5 players before roster lock the team decided to grab another two with haste and one of which remains with us today, Metal, probably being one our more beneficial pick ups. He quickly arose to the challenge and slotted into the core ultimately strengthening the team.
How did you feel VoxE transitioned to MW3, was it smooth or did the hard yards come into play?
With the rumor that Search and Destroy would be phased out of MW3, the team decided to drop from the Search and Destroy ladder and focus more on 4v4, which we knew we were pretty good at seeing as we did well in previous competitions held by CG and ACL.
And starting out making it big in search, How did you feel about this? Were you all for the change to 4's? Or do you still love playing 5's?
I wasn't really too fussed about moving over to the 4v4 scene but I still wanted to continue playing search even if it wasn't in a highly competitive team as I much prefer sniping over an AR any day. But now we are getting back into 5's I have been really enjoying it.
How's things going with falco in the team? And what was it that made you guys want to pick him up?
To date we have only played a handful of scrims with him but he seems to be enjoying more mature environment that he had been wishing for. The main reason we decided to pick him up was based a few factors, experience, leadership qualities, activity, dedication and loyalty. Falcs ticked these boxes quite easily for us and most of the applications i received were not of CGi experience or mature age.
Will he be competing in your LAN teams ?
No, at this stage he will be a sub for 5v5's, metal has been loyal as our 4's sub and if the opportunity would arise for a spot in our LAN team, Metal would be immediately offered the spot.
Do you guys have anyone else in mind that you may be picking up or is that it for you guys now?
At this stage we will be happy with a 6 man roster for both 4v4's and SnD
Do you guys have any more sponsors lined up?
I cant really disclose sponsorship information, that comes from above me in the Vox hierarchy.
Is there anything else you want to add or you would like to say to the CG community?
Start being more loving like the Starcraft 2 community, rather than shit talking every other cod player you come across.
That concludes my interview with a legend

Thanks Maus was a pleasure.
