Looking at buying some sort of external capture device in the very near future.

Specifically this little gem..

Anyone had experience with the DarkCrystal? I've looked at the Hauppage as well which is a bit more pricey and seems to lack HDMI which I find a bit silly.

Feedback would be appreciated.

I have the same device.
The hdmi doesn't work on my monitor or tv.
It's frustrating, there's no solution that I've found. So if you're gonna get the Darkcrystal.
Get one of these if the hdmi output doesn't work.
