Im experiencing fps drops after patching the 1.7...
Every couple of minutes i get an fps drop to 30ish for about 5 secs, then it becomes stable again.

Any ideas?

I have spoken to other people that have experienced similar issues after patching.

I have tryed updating PB and all that jazz, however it didn't do a thing.

Try downgrading to 1.6, see if you notice a difference, if not, then it has nothing to do with the 1.7 patch.

If you notice that you do not have the fps drop after downgrading, try upgrading again to see if you notice fps drops or not.

The problem maybe Xfire -

Xfire has been known to almost half your fps completely when your playing your games.

If your not using Xfire then IDN WTF COD4 WTF OMG WTF
