hey im currently using 450 dpi and 1.40 sens with a deathadder and razer goliathus mousepad and i read somewhere that
Low dpi @ higher sensitivity = stuttery motion, some pixel skipping.
High dpi @ lower sensitivity = smooth motion, subpixel accuracy.

Is this true? Should i change to high dpi low sense?

I've always been told and believed that a higher dpi and a lower sense is better however i guess it comes down to the preference of the gamer themselves.

1800 dpi Mx518, on a low in-game sense, 6/11 on windows, mouse accel patched.

Works really well for me, personally, but I'm not primarily an FPS player anymore.

It's the windows sens that makes it stutter or not

I run 6 in windows, 400 DPI and 1.8-2 depending on what game. Mine is smooth and I never have any issues with skipping or stuttering

Logitech MX518

but it comes down to personal preference, have you updated all of your drivers

400 dpi 2.7 , also depends on your reso

DPI x In-game Sensitivity x Windows Sensitivity.

DPI is the DPI on your mouse, a MX518 goes from 400,800,1200,1600.
A Death Adder goes from 450,900,1350,1800.

In-game sensitivity is simply your in-game sensitivity.

Windows sensitivity depends on what bar your windows bar is set to.
1. 0.03125
2. 0.0625
3. 0.25
4. 0.5
5. 0.75
6. 1.
7. 1.5
8. 2.
9. 2.5
10. 3.
11. 3.5

So basically, if your windows sensitivity bar is in the middle, then you multiply by 1, if it's 5 then you multiply by .75. and so on and so on.

For example, if you use a MX518 at 400DPI with 2 in-game and 6/11 windows, you formula would look like this. 400 x 2 x 1 = 800.

By netcode, good idea to see if your using high or low on all DPI settings

currently using 3200 dpi on my g9x and 0.2 ingame, very very smooth, and it's low despite how high the dpi is.

why dont you just try it out.
450dpi @ 1.4 ingame = 1800dpi @ 0.35 ingame

Yes i realize he is talking about CSS but its the same principal. If you double one you must halved the other. In this case its 450*4=1800 for the dpi therefore you must take 1.4/4=0.35 for the sensitivity.
What I dont know is weather it actually is more stuttery/skips pixels at a low dpi, hence why i just suggested he tries it for himself.
