Ok guys, Finals are now only a week away and although you have had a glimpse of the finals format here is the full picture:

- Finals series is single elimination
- Reward for high rankings during the season in single elimination mean its 1v8 2v7 3v6 4v5 in the first round
- This is not best of 3 maps this is single map, you lose you are out.
- Win2win means each team will accumulate money for every match they win as they progress.
- Map selection will be map vote, with each team assigning each map a rank from most to least favourite and each round teams can resubmit maps based on the team they face, or opt to keep the same map selections. The map selected will be the map with the lowest combined number out of all the maps, if multiple maps by chance have the same low rank, i will select one of them at random to be played.
- Each round will be played over 1 week with the higher ranked team offering the dates and times and the lower ranked team accepting the time/date they can make.
- Round 1 winners will have $50 assigned to their team
- Semifinals winners will have $150 assigned to their team
- Grand final winner will be awarded $250
- Total prize pool for the winner is $450

This is an experimental finals format for competitive gaming on cybergamer which will reward every team that progresses and wins in the finals not just the overall winners. All teams competing in the finals need to have a paypal account ready for finals payments.

Be interesting to see final 8 standings. Not the rankings but what teams get in there at last minute.

Clownz, Req, jumping jacks and Team 2k all have a chance of getting a last minute challenge prior to the 9th ladder lock to get into the top 8.
