Doubt it very highly can only expect improvements to the ping currently we play at 250ish? should drop to around 150 odd later in development that's my guess

Definitely not in the near future from what I can tell but as vulkan said hopefully ping will drop closer to release and what not. Honestly I don't think they will ever add aus servers but anything below 300 is more than playable so it isn't really as massive issue anyway.

Definitely not near future, but it's a certainty in the long run. I can't think of a single Valve game to date that didn't feature local Aus/NZ servers, I don't see this being any different.

I believe I read Valve say somewhere that after release one of their main goals is to have it so pretty much everyone can play on sub 100 ping, that being said I get 190ping on SEA anyway so doesn't really bother me
