I just want to ask everyones opinon on the finals format.

1 Map, 30 Minutes, first to five, Golden cap if tied after 30 minutes.
Quarter Finals
M1 - 1v3
M2 - 2v4
M3 - 5v7
M4 - 6v8

The Semi Finals will be a Bo3 match, simply meaning, best out of three maps, if one team wins two maps, they win the game and progress. The teams who will play each other will be as follows

M5 - Winner M1 - Winner M4
M6 - Winner M2 - Winner M3

Seems to me you get punished for being 3rd and 4th while 5th and 6th get more a chance to make the semis.

I know you can make arguments for an against, but wouldnt it seem better to reward the teams at the top.. ie 1 v 8 2 v 7 etc etc

Thoughts?

thats just a suggestion. but 1v8 2v7 sounds good too.

There was a reason to the method I put in the email sent to teams.. but if people do care that much, I'll use a changed system.

M1 - 1v5
M2 - 2v6
M3 - 3v7
M4 - 4v8

Semi
M5 - Winner of M1 & M3
M6 - Winner of M2 & M4

Final / 3PO
Finals = winners of m5/m6
3po = losers from m5/m6

would of preferred 1v3

Well.. if team 1 and team 3 win their respective matches you will get your 1v3
