imo you should probably take damage if you're being shot at (unless they headshot the jockey where its not covering you).

Boomers can make a huge difference indeed, but so can owning choke points.

I Agree that AK47 with lasers is overpowered, but how often are laser sights around? Especially with AKs. Both teams get it so it doesn't really matter. Going against a tank with only pistols makes the tank over powered.

You may kill them. But you're still down a med kit and they only have 50 HP when revived.

I guess that's true for the tank too... but still.

I like my Jockey idea.

Rest I agree with.

Oh yeah, anyone have a good server IP list with these configs on it? Would like to practise.

Both teams getting it doesn't equal fair.

After all, in L4D, both teams got the auto shotgun, is that balanced?

But cant you apply that same logic to tank on Dead Center 1?

And no. It's not fair if both teams get the auto win gun. I'm glad it got nerfed against the tank.

I'll agree that dealing with a tank on DeC1 is frickin hard - it really depends where he spawns though. In the few scrims/PUG's I've played with it you see either;

1. Backtracking to the first room off the spawn on the right (QQ calls it the Deagle Room)
2. The Tank spawns at the bottom of the elevator, and swaps before you get to it. (Although there should be an agreement with how this is dealt with - epic back tracking works in most maps and you wind up with an AI tank, which is kinda balls).
3. Its actually usable and when we've played good teams, it usually kills 1-2 people.

In the end, its a really short/easy map (like Parish1), this adds some competitive wakeup flavour.
