raze, can you post up a detailed analysis of how to judge potential hackers in game?
i'm sure the entire community would find it extremely useful, as i myself often have doubts about some players in pubs.
thanks in advance!
Ouch, wel thats a hard one. There are Allot of aimbots out there with the netcoders's aimbot/multihack at the top line. You cant get this free anywhere for free and you
need to pay 50$ for it to get it, you cant download this with torrents, or any other download programs. They are hard to detect but i can see them within seconds on lowest setting(s).
I have many demo's in my folder with aimbots, different ones from the extreme Sten 10 hs in 1 second till the Netcoder aimbot used at scrim at that time.
If you think someone cheats, go to spec and look for signs, like strange aim, shock movement towards the head/chest that are obvious, the aiming happens in straight lines, so the moment of spotting, and the moment the cross hair *hits* the target. Between point A, Sight, And point B, the cross hair on target. Is one perfect straight line. (Can be better seen in slowmotion).
The most obvious is reaction time. Aimbots work with scripting and coding and therefore have a much faster reaction time then human hands.
The moment the target comes in sight, time between "spotting" the target, and "movement" of the crosshair is just to fast. To fast to be human. This together with small mistakes the player makes, For example leaning, and then "knowing" where the enemy went. All this combined can confirm that someone is cheating.
