I have set up the tourny server, for some reason when you get to the end of the rounds the game crashes and boots you...

I'm not sure what the problem is - possibly when the results are being written..

Can anyone let me know if they dont have this problem at the end of 5 rounds when the torny finishes...

Or know what the fix is...

Thanks gocat, these are basic things that need testing and working out before pressing the go button.

I know a few people keep asking for it to start, but most of those people aren't willing to do the testing (this includes convincing people to join servers!)
There's no point rushing this only for it to fall apart at week one.
It needs testing, it's not going to start until that's done - stop asking to start now.

If memory serves me correctly, there is an option to look search for servers the usual way or via Gamespy.

Guru, when you installed in, there is an option to enable Gamespy and disable it, you must have enabled it in installation. So reinstall and dont say yes to Gamespy.

If all fails we can use old-school rules, counting score in chat, hopefully it wont come to this and we can attempt to iron these bugs out on sunday.

I think that was the option to install the GameSpy Program, which you can run and look for servers on it, I was sure there was an option ingame for finding game servers, once I've installed this version I will have a look.

Btw Trep, if theres any specifics you need tested, hit us up.

The only thing this version come with is game spy, and no need to install seperately. You need to unblock ports ect...

Read the pinned topic as it explains all, if that doesnt work google it.....

Most important stay on topic - I've tried just about everything with the torny server but it still crashes..

Well then... next best option? 2.6? 2831?
I think I remember 284 and 285 really killed it with "glitchy lag".
