hey guys been playing a little dota at a friends house and decided to pick up a copy of my own today but have no idea what im doing or really any understanding of it. im from the ekbok section(flame is you must) and just looking to play with a few pc guys maybe show us a thing or to how to play dota. any advice/tips/help will be much appreciated.

CG has a very very small dota community, you have two choices, if u wanna play dota i would head over to Bored Aussie, i forgot the website address, google it but u'll find most people on cg play heroes of newerth which is almost the same game play with pretty much all the same heroes just better graphics and a few differ heroes. You can get a free beta account and play for free for sometime and see if u like or buy it for 30 usd on their website!

what is hon?

Hon is a newer version very similar to DOTA in most cases people see it as more enjoyable which I do as well (former DOTA player).

Heros of Newerth is currently in its beta stages and you can obtain a beta key from someone if you ask nicely. All you will have to do is download it. It also gives you reccomended items for your hero which will help you out.
