I was wondering which one is better 180 vs x1 , I've read a fair bit of info about them and had a look at reviews. I want to know which one you think is better and the cheapest way to buy it?


I figured they are both pretty much in the same league, I've heard a lot of things about the x1 and everyone seems to think they are pretty good value for money, I don't really like the look of the headset but I'm buying for performance. The 180 I've not heard much about so I'm guessing it might be new on the market, it looks better than the x1 to me apart from its strangely shaped speakers.

I'd probably go the Ax180's simply because I have Ax360's and love them and also my mate has X1's and I don't like them at all...

I'm sure they'll both be good quality. From reading specs they're pretty much the same headset bar appearance...Tritton have also made the 180's powered by USB much like TB do. Aren't many other headsets in that price range unless you turn to PC ones. Go the 180's. They look cooler, heh.

I doubt anyone in aus has the 180's yet, an american dude i play with has 720's and he says they're pretty good.

same until recently, the AX 360's aren't even on the Tritton website anymore which was another option. The turtle beach x1 headsets are getting harder to find a decent deal with. I think I might just be safe and get the x1's....

Yeah i found out about 720's when i was thinking about buying a knew headset. Good for there price range. Better then X31's and same price, mabye a bit cheaper?

NetOpt has AX 720s in stock they just aren't advertising it. Email their sales department to get a quote. Should be cheaper than AX Pros.

I"m thinking after looking at prices the turtle beach looks cheap but is value for money, the 180 looks sexy orange/black and most likely does the same performance wise. If I can get a good deal on a 720 I'm there!

On second thoughts Razor have plans to release a 5.1 headset for xbox, looks very nice.

The Razer headset is f*********king beast! :O, If you watch the new youtube videos you'll see that when you put the headset on the stand, it charges itself, awesome amirite?!
