push to talk doesnt work when in game

hey
just installed windows 7 a fair while ago
installed cod4 and vent
vent works fine but when i go into cod nobody can hear me
i put on "play key clicks" in vent setup and they dont play when im in game.
does anyone know whats happening?

yeh this happens with me aswell but on mw2, cod4 is fine for me.

i also tried it with 'm'
even on the options screen when im in game. it seems to happen as soon as the game starts to load

HAHA this happens to me , open the game , then quit vent , right click it run in adminstrator , then open vent
