Benny and myself have been contemplating running a CGi V8 League for a while, but i have a few concerns which stopped me from posting sooner.

Its is similar to the Current V8 Setup which was developed between myself and Benny before the V8 Supercar night started. However, it is a little more stricter on the assists, run on a sunday night, and having a full season championship structure with same 8 people racing every week.

Their would be an entry fee of approx $25 per person with winner take all ($200), with possible other prizes.

Would people support this? And would you wanna play in it?

I would join it but would just like to see how many people would go in it so then i know how much money.

im not sure if i would pay to play. last time i raced with others from cg it was more like a demolition derby and that was with traction on. maybe only let certain ppl in. but probably dont have the numbers to allow that.

Sorry Rohizle, but I don't think a P2P would work on Forza 3.

it would if we had a larger comunity with a higher skill level. at the moment probably only 3 - 4 ppl that take a racing game seriosly on this site. mainly a cod community. however with money involved maybe ppl will give 100% effort.

Thats the plan, to have more serious racers and be an invite only league, i think we have 8 people that could make this a success. Im just not 100%, even more so after the V8 nights, but this is a slightly different setup. Thats why i made the topic, see what people think.

I find it hard enough to make time for one MW2 ladder let alone for Forza. Plus I know I'm not good enough, I'd just be giving $25 away.

Would be fun but I'm fair bad at forza and would be a waste of $25 for me.

Well you could do time trials instead of races?

Time trials would just see the same players on top every week, after the failure of the V8 supercar night, im not so sure CGi would work, hopefully we can think of something competitive for the game though.

my brother might be keen to pay. he loves his V8s and is a very clean serious racer.

Yeah tbh, i think it would be throwing money away considering how good Benny and a couple others are on this site...
