Format: 8v8 Single Elimination
Teams: Up to 32
Team roster cap: 12 players

Outline

The Battlefield Bad Company 2 BETA CUP will be a single elimination king of the hill tournament where up to 32 teams will compete over 4 weeks. Round 1 will be the group stages elimination round starting Sunday 7th February 2010 giving team members a week to download the BETA and get up to speed as the action will be fast paced right through until the finals which will be on the 24th.

All accepted teams will be given BETA keys ready for the tournament commencement so it is essential that all players have the correct email address in their CyberGamer user profile to avoid issues with members not being issued keys. The winning team at the end of the tournament will see all rostered members receive a full copy of PC Battlefield Bad Company 2 ready for the games release courtesy of Dice Studios.

Tie up the dog and hand over the credit card to the missus as the first week will be hectic with 16-24 games run through the first week leading into the groups finals and then the semifinal. All registered teams need to ensure there players are capable of committing to matches between 7-14th February to avoid early elimination due to missing players. Gamestah will be there in the tournament with key casts with VOD streaming aswell as the dice team keeping updates on Battlefield.com.
