Wierd Problem

Ive had this problem for a while now, i guess since i installed windows 7.

Everytime i restart my computer, the modem restarts/resets as well.

I am connected to the modem by a cable, its a motorola SBG900. My PC specs are in my profile, like i said im running windows 7, but honestly i have no clue why this is happening, any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

tried it today, didnt work ;( btw there was nothing to uninstall so i just downloaded and installed the windows 7 realtek family ethernet driver.

i dont know if this helps or not but if i restart my computer with the cable not plugged into the modem, the modem wont restart, but as soon as i plug the cable in it will.
