Bazajaytee from DICE has confirmed that another client side patch will be out once the master servers are back up.. in 45mins of this thread.

Hopefully they implemented the CPU fixes that will be in the final release. Would like to know what fps to expect before i go out and upgrade my CPU if i have to.

Ive got the PS3 'Demo' and comparing it to the PC Beta it is a lot more polished. The TV that you use to access the UAV Chopper is static and blurry when it us unavailable to use for one example.

Hopefully they optimize for lower end machines too.

Hopefully they don't - depending on what you mean by lower end. The game shouldn't be held to ransom by people with the computing power of a calculator.

Even the PS3 beta felt way more polished than the PC beta but I can understand that - you don't need to develop consoles for different processing speeds. I have a lot of faith that the retail version of the game will be substantially better than the beta.

but yeah they already stated numerous times that the current RC (release candidate) is no where near where they are at now with the game, this one was released purely for stability

They said the update is still going through QA, which is done internally. The servers are up to R6 (revision/release) which they can update without the need for a client update.

And the primary reason for the beta. The client is R2 with R3 coming.
