Okay so, I've bought up the idea once before, and it was mostly ignored.
But, the more I think about it, the more I think it's a better idea.
This idea I speak of is damn simple, but I think it could be a very effective thing and could be just what the L4D community needs and by the looks of the past few threads, wants.
Simply put dudes, why don't a few folks from this community, go raid their friends list for that ol' pub noobies who you had fun playing with at some time because you found they listened great, learned quickly, etc etc.
If, for example, 10 people did this, found 3 guys on their friends list who they enjoyed playing a pub match with, and make a clan together, that's 40 new players to our game of L4D.
After speaking with AA, he's keen on this idea as well, and plans to do this, as am I, I already have 3 dudes in mind who probably will do this.
What I think we should do, with of course blessing from admins and most likely annoyingly long political CG processes, is host a "L4D Beginners Tourinment" a DKO or something anything as such, maybe even a CGm seperate little league anything along these kinds of lines that will be able to have some fresh faces in the game, which we could see many clans getting into our ladder.
What this one person who picks another may do is, train them up in the skills that most of us know, eg, how to speed climb lol, etc bla bla had to throw that one in there for teh lulz

But yeah, get them to scrim etc etc get them in the pugs that myself, or AA, or Ethan, chad, anyone else whom hosts the pugs around. I think it's a nice simple solution and we could all truely benifit from this, not too mention I think it would be hell fun to see, and definately to watch progressions of players who have the ability to be much better then they are.
Whatchu reckon guize? Anyone wanna give this a go?
Regards,
Hauks.
