Well guys yet another match and yet another win, that makes 4 straight for the 4v4. Challenging for 8th on the ladder

xPRIKx Vs kinG
Map 1: CTF - Invatsion - 2 > 1 xPRIKx
Map 2: S&D - Scrapyard - 4 > 0 kinG
Map 3: Demo - Terminal - 2 > 0 xPRIKx

Final score - 2 > 1 xPRIKx

This was a hard match the whole way and a great effort by xPRIKx to seal the win and 8th spot on the cybergamer 4v4 ladder.

First round was CTF on Invasion,

The game as all CTF games go started off with both teams attacking hard to start, but after a minute or so of that, both teams settled down and started to play with strategy. kinG and xPRIKx both took the flag numerous times early, only to have to carrier shot and the flag returned. around 3mins in xPRIKx advanced and were able to cap the flag, but as xPRIKx were about take the flag home, the carrier was shot down, there was a mad scramble from both teams, kinG to return the flag and xPRIKx to fully cap. xPRIKx came out on top and took the lead 1-0.

With the lead xPRIKx attempted to defend for the rest of the half, with 2 1/2 mins remaining this proved to be to bigger task and with kinG throwing everything they had they managed to capture a flag and make it 1-1. This is the way the first half ended.

Second half xPRIKx had the easier end to defend, so with that they kept 1 player back to defend xPRIKx Fiddis (sniping god) and sent the rest of the team forward to attack. this porived to be the perfect strategy as xPRIKx halfway through the round captured the flag to make it 2-1.

Once again xPRIKx with the lead defended and defended very well, holding kinG out for the remianing 2mins.

Second round was S&D on Scrapyard,

Now xPRIKx have never been known as a S&D clan, though of late we have been performing well. On this occasion we were very well out played and dominated, xPRIKx only looked like winning 1 of the rounds, the first one, but a brilliant effort by one of the kinG players with a 2 on 1 kept xPRIKx out of it. this was the trait for most of the S&D and xPRIKx were dominated and lost 4-0. Great effort and win for that round by kinG.

3rd and deciding round game down to Demo on terminal.

xPRIKx were defending first, this we thought to be to our advantage and at first defended well, but about 30 seconds left kinG managed to plant at B and extended the timer, xPRIKx defused but almost straight away were over run and kinG replanted. kinG defended well and then managed to plant at A. xPRIKx scrambled well and decided to let B go and defend A with everything. This worked well as xPRIKx were able to defuse. We now had to defend again for a further 2 minutes.

xPRIKx managed to hold of a very strong attack from kinG despite a few close defuses. round ended 1 > 0 xPRIKx

Second round found xPRIKx on the attack, kinG fighting very hard to defend found themselves having to defuse B early, they managed to do so, though as in the fisrt round found that the bomb to be planted straight away, this time though xPRIKx were in place to defend.

A bomb now the only site left to target, kinG defended with everything they had, but it was not enough as time and time again were over run by xPRIKx, and with the bomb now planted and xPRIKx set very defensively, kinG could just not manage to get in and defuse. round win to xPRIKx 2 > 0

Man of the match Demo - xPRIKx Fear with some great defensive work on both sites

Overall man of the match - a tie between xPRIKx Fear and xPRIKx Fury with a great overall effort from both players

Well played by kinG and good luck for the rest of the season, by far the hardest match we have had to date.
