Alright this is for anyone who owns a Nintendo Wii and hasnt hooked it up to the internet (which is awesome) or has had theres connected for less than a month. Basically whats happening is Nintendo have a promotion sorta thing goin on where if you help someone connect there wii to the net you both get Nintendo points, which are the wii version of ms points. So if i help you out with this we both get a free 500 points which can be used for many different nintendo classics.

So what happens is once you connect your wii you go to your home menu and enter the wii shop.
There will then be a Connection Ambassador Promotion button located in the bottom left hand corner, you then click on the button. It will then take you to the next screen which will have two large buttons, one saying Connection Ambassador and another saying Person Who Was Helped, you click on Person who was helped.

You will then be prompted to enter a 16 digit number, this is where you enter my console code which is: 5755 5737 8288 3983
You will then be asked three random questions, answer them however you want because this wont stop you getting your free points.

To get credited for the program and the 500 points I need to enter your console number into my system.  This links them up and credits the points.  To get your console number just do the following:
* On the Home Screen in the bottom right hand corner there will be an envelope.  This is the message board.  Click on this.
* Click on Create Message
* Click on Address Book
Your Wii console number will now be shown on your screen.  It is 16 numbers (4 groups of 4 numbers).  Write this down.
You then need to email or message me your console number so I can put it in my system.
I then enter it into my console and within a few minutes you will have your points.

I've never connected my Wii to the net because I don't want it to update but I really want to see the Rock Band 2 DLC.

Haha, I've had mine since last christmas and I've never really considered connecting it. It mostly gains dust unless I have friends over.

I heard its heaps good online, never got the chance though. Sold mine for $300 with games on ebay.

Internet always screws up + connection is bad if you have it wireless
