If you played the first one it's very similiar plus amazing graphics and the new grapple system.
If you haven't played it, i would describe it as;
A sandbox game where your character is a combination of james bond + any other action hero you can think of. It's set in a south american kind of place and it includes deserts, jungles, water, tropical islands ect ect ect
Basically you have unlimited parachutes and a grapple that can attach to anything and then pull you to it. You can skydive off anything you want, grapple onto cars and do all kind of crazy shit. The map is much bigger than GTA and a lot more interesting instead of just big cities. The game is completely over the top in what you can do but grappling onto a helicopter and then jumping out of it and skydiving only to grapple onto another helicopter is just too awesome. Words don't explain well so here are some videos.

Demo Gameplay:
IF you do get it, be warned, voice acting is crap, but ithe first one was really cheesy but quite humorous as well so i'm hoping thats the reason why. Amazingly fun game.
First thing I noticed in the demo, the voice acting was beyond horrible;
"I am Bolo Santosi" *Okay, what the **** guys, seriously, goes Drjft*
Hahahah. The demo is fun. The timer sucks, as does the thing of not having much to do in it. The gameplay seems pretty same old same old. Why would you buy the full version, when you experience what the game really is in the demo; The Grapple. xD
To add to my post, the map follows the old time skating video rule; "All filler no killer."
Fly as high as possible in a Helicopter. There's no coherence between the areas. Your just as likely to see a built up city with a Andes type snow mountain range right beside it. Oh, my personal favorite. A barren desert, with a rainforest covered mountain next to it.
I don't expect realism from just cause after playing the first one. It's better than being in some ultra dull city. I found plenty to do in the demo over a number of playthroughs and would still play it a few more times before i get it. I couldn't care less about coherence when playing a game like this. It wins because of it's gameplay and while abrupt the changes in scenery may be odd it gives the game some variety that a lot of other games lack. It's purely fun to me and it still looks rather amazing for a game that isn't produced by a bigger name company.
And the demo is fun, I just didn't think it was amazingly liberating like the first one was. The grapple is fun, specially how you can combine it with cars etc and destroy stuff.
i am a heron. i have a long neck and i pick fish out of the water with my beak. if you dont repost this comment on 10 other pages i will fly into your kitchen tonight and make a mess of your pots and pans
Attaching people to gas bottles and shooting them is pretty lol. Personally like sitting on top of cars and randomly attaching people to them as you go by. Works with motorbikes too. Some gameplay elements have become lacking in comparison to the first one but others have excelled to much to make it any real difference to me. I'm waiting to see what the full version of the blackmarket and upgrade system is like before passing judgement on whether or not this game has more freedom.
Damn it. You'd be doing me a huge favor. My kitchen is a mess.
Krit; I like shooting the Gas cans, then grappling them, and getting pulled into the air. You can do it at the Mansion/Villa/Estate where that weaponless chopper is.
its a fun game.
i found infinite time glitch for demo.
when demo time trial time appears on screen counting down from 10, you call black market and buy something and it freezes on 0 and it stays there but you can still play
This was going to be one of the reasons i would buy a ps3, a couple of guys from my school have it, they say it's one of the best adventure games ever....
