Hi All,
For those that don’t know me, my name is Shane or SCSI which ever you prefer.
I thought that I would put a breif introduction to myself in here so the COD4 players know who I am and how to contact me if they need to since I'll be running all the COD4 servers, and refereeing this season and possibly into the future.
I’m currently working as a network manager for a private secondary college and I have worked as both a Network Engineer and IT consultant. I spend most of my time working on Linux, Unix, Netware and Windows servers as well as other connected network equipment and stuff (SANs, NASs, Routers, Switches, ect).
I’ve been playing games for almost 20 years now. My genre is RTS games, although I find myself mostly playing COD4 now days.
I have played in events at Guf for Dawn of War, DOTA and Command & Conquer 3.
I’ve spent the last 9 months starting out to play professionally for -=AVF=-& GBu. We attended the WCG Qual at Ballarat GIG as well as the WCG nationals this year ( 2008 ). We had a lot of fun even though we got hosed.
I also run LAN parties for the community in Ballarat once every two months or so. We’ve been getting around 60 people each event now.
As far as TrueRank is concerned, I’ve been looking after the COD4 servers this season just gone. I’m looking forward to automating the setup a lot more this year.
If you have any issues with the servers or matches feel free to contact me, but please, no spam.
