I like mp5 with silencer, claymore, uav jammer and Dead Silence.....what more do you need on defending or change the claymore for bomb squad for attacking.

I like to be able to choose what perks I want as this makes COD4 so much more fun than CSS without that choice its just like playing CSS with better graphics.

I agree on banning noob tubes, choppers, airstrikes LMGs, p90s or auto snipers as they take no skill to play.

What servers do you play on that have promod? I need to get some practice in so I don't get rolled....and I mean a lot of practice.

CoD is not CSS...
BUT it needs to be more like it in order for competitive play to work, ie takking out all the noob bullshit like perks that were only made to appeal to the non competitive community.
this is a tournament, not a node pub server.
if you want to play cod4 with perks, ill get you the ip for some stock HC servers...

We were the same with, WE HATED promod. Personal I was cut because my winning combo of RD, M4 and spam just didn't work as well lol. We joined CGo just because GA ladder was average, full softcore running PAM4, where unaimed spam of p90s run riot!

Slowly we began to understand that promod is a lot more tactical then standard cod4.

Cover seems to work a little better, waiting for a clear shot and hitting that shot is much more important. Silencers are a REAL trade for power and penetration for extra sneak ability.

Promod is something you have to play a little to understand. But after a while you will like it more and eventually you really won’t want to play anything else.

Well I just got rid of the GBu server because the host was just lag I am looking for another one

Look on the Cybergamer homepage for teams looking for a scrim. Most of them have there own servers, It will be a 5v5 game but its still promod.

Also we play some stuff around 2v2 nights. (shipment fun) so add us to xfire if your ever looking for someone to play with.

As I had the 'EXACT' same idea/opinion as you when I first started playing COD4.

Hey Shaunyvee added you to my xfire....so far I can only run in on my throw together machine at home as my gaming machine is in pieces.
