Thanks to CCC from Gaming Unleashed QLD
A quick post to say thank you to Diabora, Lucifa, MrBig and EmeraldKnight from Cool, Calm and Collected based at Gaming Unleashed QLD in Gympie, QLD.

The CCC team from the CyberGamer Amateur went head to head with Dark Angels in a warm up for their match earlier tonight.

But like Dark Angels it turned out their match against LAN Mine was cancelled due to a no-show by the opposition. This is the exact same thing that happened to the Dark Angels in our match against Etheral Realmz.

Quick shoutout also to the staff of The Lan Mine in Albury, NSW and the staff of Etheral Realmz in Albany, WA who dispite their best efforts weren't able to field teams. Thank you for communicating the situation as soon as you were aware of it.

In the wake of one Amateur team and one Pro League team both having a bad night.. it was the SCSI who stepped in and bought the two together. Citystreets, mr16, three players from Dark Angels, five players from CCC (including SCSI) and lots of frags.

Whilst the result may not have been close, a lot of fun was had and both teams got some good practice at Gaming Unleashed in Gympie and at The Bunker in Brisbane.

The CCC guys got some more practice in the promod they love so very very much.

Hopefully we can play you guys again in the coming weeks on PAM or something you are more used to.

Thanks again.

8| Thanks for the practice Momo it was certainly an eye opener watching how and where you hid and throw nades from. That was lucifas first COD4 go, Diabora only started playing from the start of this season and Mr Big will be his second season.

We knew you had it won after that 2(3) v 4 warm up before we all got kicked for the amatuer comp start. Was looking forward to playing against the lanmine boys....hopefully next time.

The etherealrealmz boys turned up for a match that they said started at 8pm.....Just to left all players know its 8pm mexican time (those states bellow the qld boarder) and 7pm real time for those lucky to live in gods land for the amatuer comp and 9pm mexican time and 8pm real time for those in the pro comp.

Its up to the team captains to talk to their respective gaming centers to make sure they have the players and are there on time. I know it sucks to sit waiting for a team on paid time and they end up being a no show. those that can't make it please have the curtesy to ring your centers atleast the mornign of the game so they can inform the rest of the centers about it so we have time to organise a **** team at the very least or even another team in a friendly match.

At the end of the day we are here to play and even though we got wooped by the DA's we still enjoyed ourselves.

See you ingame

Most nights the rest of the GBu squad is online and I could arrange to have them jump in to play against teams who find themselves with a no-show?

Ta,

SCSI.

Thanks EK.... We might actually try and contact the Etheral Realmz boyz and see if they are interested in playing our match next week after the normal scheduled match... Give them a chance at a match as well.

Also, can you have a think about if you can get your boyz together on a weekend ? I wouldn't mind jumping int he momo-mobile and coming for a drive up to see you all. Might be a good opportunity to have a few hours of gaming and show your boyz some of those really cool nades and stuff.

We might even play some PAM mode

Always willing to learn....or play.

gg EK. I'll have to see how it goes but next weekend is the COD5 Launch Party and I am pretty sure I am heading down there.

I'd forgotten about that!!! Perhaps the week after then as its the Formula 1 finale this weekend :]

Looking forward to CoD5 but from the beta reports there are more broken gun issues that CoD4...

Also just want to point out who would have thought that the CCC team would be topping the table after the first two games! I'm well impressed by how they have worked so well together and half of them have been playing for 2 weeks or less!!!

I hate the other guf side 'Unforgiven Sins'

The talent of that team is stupidly insane.

A few of our guys have played with them privately... Im happy to admit that Synic flogged the SHIT out of me 1v1

wow, maybe WE should be in the amateur league
