We rock up to the server, it's on Cerbere Landing; okay cool, a simple Google for the change map command solved that.

However once we finally got rolling, we got hit with this for the entire duration of the match.



The pings were horrendous, nevertheless gg xeta.

Sorry about that guys i really dont know whats going on there... Maybe a router is down somewhere and the traffic is been re-routed.

The servers changing needs to be sorted though, the lag, also the battlerecorder files need to be setup so that the demos are automatically added -_- Swearing filter is completely unnecessary for the servers as well i feel, im sure a lot of you agree with me

1 - 2: Network Issues at telstra meaning data was being re-routed to get to the server.
3: BR files kept inhouse at the moment, will change soon
4: Yeah i might drop that off, your meant to be nice to the other guys but alot of the language is for lols so fair point
5: Battlefield 2142 at the moment, Battlefield Series soon.

6: What i might do guys is provide a CG BF2142 CGO Match4 server on another network thats not in the ladder server list but in the server browser so if you guys have issues you can always switch to that server and map vote it onto the correct map (quicker than the rcon maplist append commands). That may be a good way to give you guys a ready to go backup for matches without admin intervention.

it was insom who actually managed to insert the map change rcon he knows all the commands because he fiddles too much with our practice server -_-

A backup server would be a great idea

i think cg would benefit from having a battlefield 2 ladder as well, as a lot of people can't handle not prone spamming and nade spamming so they stick to bf2
