Pretty simple question for those who play: what aspects of wow do you enjoy?

Basically, I bought the game 2 years back, played for a month, got bored and didn't bother re-subscribing. Then the other day I played again thanks to this 10 day free trial thing. However, I'm just getting bored again. Gameplay seems to consist solely of running back and forth around the Barrens for hours, constantly getting quests to "Kill [number] of [certain creature]". I'm still pretty new (level 23), so is this just a phase I have to put up with?

Regardless, so many people play the damn game, I feel like I'm missing something major. Help out a newbie.

you only got to lvl 23 and you're going on about how boring the game is. LOL

doesn't get fun till about 35+ then it's gets better and better.

What class are you playing?
Last time when I played and got bored I was a rogue and I've heard they're awesome end-game..

Group quests/raids are great fun

Congrats you repeated exactly what I said. The entire point of this thread is to say "I'm clueless, does it get better".

Yeah that was the only thing I could foresee being fun, but I never bothered joining a guild or whatever and I don't know many others playing WoW.

shamans are a hore to level, and panzo is right end game is when the fun begins, raiding, high end pvp, ganking etc

what's the easiest class to level then?

Warlock is fair easy.. pretty fun too with their CC

pick a good character to lvl, a shaman is not one of those.

I had the same problem as you, i was stuck leveling for so long because i got bored and went back to cod, but once i got to level 70 i played non stop. like panzo said level 1-79 are boring but they prepare you for end-game.

hunters and locks are 2 easiest classes to lvl in the game, hunters can pretty much solo most "group" quests

go hunter to 55, then DEATH KNIGHT!?!?!

actually go paladin, when you get past level 10 press N and go down the talent tree labelled "Retribution". Game is too ez with ret paliez
