My xbox 360 is not reading my discs it says open tray. so i open tray then close again, it says reading then open tray again. i need help please help me

The only things u really can do is:

Reset your xbox
clean ur discs
lie your xbox down on a flat surface
or leave it off for about 10mins

Nothing much you can do AFAIK. Can try a DVD lens cleaner but some can apparently damage it, they have worked for me though. I eventually gave up and bought a new 360.

You can fix it yourself if you buy a new Laser but that will avoid your warranty if anything goes wrong.
And you cant download the disk to HD because it cant even read the disk..

Might mean the laser is gone but once in a while it will work but better off to send it away. Better sending it off then screwing around with it....If u have spare money,go buy another one and just return that when ur other one gets back.Cheers

lol there is so many stupid things u can try and sum of them work. toothpaste, put it in the freezer overnite ect. nevr worked for me but ive herd success stories
