CoD 4 S&D Ruleset Discussion.

Ok guys, you asked for it, so CoD 4 is on its way into CG PS3, and i need some opinions for the S&D ruleset, which will hopefully become the first of a few CoD4 ladders. We are leaning towards the following:

Naturally a few things will need to change for PS3.
Perks on / off?
HUD on / off?
Health settings?
6v6?

Other gametypes will come in the future, Promod, 4v4, TDM, 1v1 etc depending on the S&D ladder's success.

Any comments, questions or feedback is appreciated, but keep it constructive please. These are your ladders, so help us give you what you want to play.

tbh stopping power with half health is way to easy to kill, ak47 would drop sum1 in 1 or 2 bullets

if its half health perks would have to be bandoiler uav jammer (no kill streaks so its useless) and dead silence or deep impact

ConsoleMode™ - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare


1. Match Rules

1.1 Official game mode of ConsoleMode™ - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is Search and Destroy. The official score limit is 8 per map (best of 15). The first team that wins 8 times, wins the map. So, each match is played over three maps. First team which gets 2 map wins, is winner of the match. The official match size is 5 versus 5.

1.2 Class limitations per team:
* Snipers M40A3 and R700 (Bolt-action snipers) - max 1 allowed
* LMG (such as M249 SAW, RPD and M60E3) - completely forbidden
* Snipers M21, Dragunov and Barrett .50cal (Semi-automatic snipers) are banned from usage
* From the Sub Machine Guns category; P90 is banned from usage
* From the Special Grenades category; Stun Grenades are banned from usage.
Breaking the rule above results in loss of the map.

1.3 Using Grenade Launcher is always forbidden and will result in loss of the map.

1.4 Weapon attachments, like red dot sight, silencer or agog-scope, are banned. If this rule is broken, the abusing clan loses of the map automatically.

1.5 MMG, Mountable Machine Guns are banned from usage. If this rule is broken, the abusing clan loses of the map automatically.


2. Maplist

2.1 The maplist for ConsoleMode™ is:
* Backlot
* Crash
* Crossfire
* District
* Strike
* Vacant


3. Perks

3.1 The usage of perks is limited. You should set your perks like this:
* Perk1: Bomb Squad
* Perk2: Stopping Power
* Perk3: Deep Impact


4. Server Settings

4.1 Search and Destroy server settings:
* Round Length: 2.5 Minutes
* Bomb Timer: 45 seconds
* Plant Time: 5 Seconds
* Defuse Time 7.5 Seconds
* Multi Bomb: Disabled
* Score Limit: 8 Points
* Round Switch: Every Round
* Spectating: Team Only
* Wave Spawn Delay: None
* Force Respawn: Enabled
* Radar Always On: No
* Friendly Fire: Enabled
* Number of Lives: 1 Life

I think the same as mw2 S&D
Hud can be on if you wish to have it but on mw2 there was a poll and it was dominated by no. I have a feeling it would be the same on 4 but run some polls during the pre season if you are planning on having one and see how it goes from there.
