Wasn't this website a place for the COD community to have a proper, free, open place to play a decent level of competetive game?
Now i open this ******* website and i have to pay for some premium membership bullshit and people are getting banned for burying articles about sponsors and shit, seriously, what the ****?
Isn't this the same sort of stuff that got people sick to the shit with GotGames?
Isn't this why Cybergamer was formed in the first place? To have a place where we didn't have to worry about bureaucratic bullshit and egotistical admins?

I haven't used this site myself since the new "version" simply because it's too much of a ******* pain in the nuts to navigate and seems to be filled with people I've never heard of before doing their absolute best to suck the skin right off any admins dick they can get their greasy hands on.

Can't we just have a website like it used to be? Back when it started? Where we can go to play ladder games and talk shit about each other without having to worry about ******* admins running the place like a ******* nazi concentration camp.

Keep in mind, i have much love for Asterix for building this website in the first place, and i absolutely think he should get recompense for the years of hard work he's spent building this community, but what has it been built into? And who the **** are all these admins flashing their **** for the camera?


What the **** happened to CG?....seriously.

Isn't possible to keep allowing people to troll every 2nd thread. But the moderation is still way less than GA, and Premium simply gives you extra's with a chance of me and sn@p getting paid for at least some of the work we've put into CG.

I think the new site is innovative to allow some profit to be made for the work snap and aster and others put into it, even then, its optional.

Only thing I agree on in your post would be the influx of random's that think every sentence they write is 'bait', its getting ridiculous. But then again, without the new influx of "randoms", CG wouldnt have grown as it has.

like i said Snap, I don't use the site as much as i used to because of all this shit, i was fine with donating but premium accounts on a site NO MATTER WHAT THEIR PURPOSE usually ends up locking certain shit unless you pay for it, obviously, maybe not now but down the track.

Also, what's the deal with three month bans for thumbs downing an article? If you don't want people to thumbs down it, just take the thumb away?

CG would of died long ago if it didn't continue to get bigger and support more games. What do you expect? CoD2 to last for ever?

I'm not entirely certain on the ban but from what i gathered, it wasnt just one person who got banned but a whole organisation for taking part in the burying and that was why it was a 3 month ban for those players.

Perhaps understand what you're talking about first, considering they all abused the system by spamming msn to bury a legitimate post, and only a handful were banned..

So you're complaining over something that hasn't happened, if you don't like the site, leave. Or if this is some kind of massive bait, you can leave as well.

We have chosen to support as many platforms/games as we can, while keeping them as separated as possible.

boingman you really shouldn't talk and comment about things you don't understand. the burying was done as a conjoined effort by a certain number of players, burying posts that didn't need to be buried and so forth.

aswell as this: why shouldn't this website grow? aster and snap deserve to be reimbursed for the hard work they've put in. i agree that it's very much lost it's 'close community' feel - i rarely see anything that is actually WORTH reading on the forums anymore, but this is all for the better. despite the forums being pretty much a nightmare, cg wouldnt've been able to run and help run events like the alienware/msi/draft comps without all of this progress.

I wish cg would give me back my avatar and sig **** knows why they are and were disabled.... the support ticket team just ignores every complaint
