I like the font in the logo, whats it called?

because talking about yourself in third person is cool.

your youtube background has ugly white boxes on either side.

Skimmed the logo tutorial just to get a general idea of where you're at.

Firstly, logos are better simple, but the fact of the matter is there are varying degrees of simple. If you've got a good logotype, and the form is great, then go ahead, do something simple, but if it's just say, an E as you had, with your name under it, it is extremely bland because it's been done time and time again.

Secondly, consider using text on paths. Rather than using text boxes, just click (don't hold) and it'll create a text path.

Thirdly, you can auto centre with the move tool, on an X and Y axis. Press V and then look up the top where all those boxes with the lines through them. If you select, say, the E and the white BG layer, it'll centre the E if you hit the align horiz/vert centres button.

Fourthly, use clipping masks on environmental reflections. Use clipping masks on everything to that matter.

Fifthly, New Fill Layer > Gradient > Black (100%) to Black (0%), set to diamond on a 45 degree angle.
