Welcome to a special season of Counter-Strike Source Pro League, brought to you by CyberGamer and the Western Digital Caviar Green Hard Drives. With its now massive 3TB storage capacity and eco-friendly power conscious drives, the WD Caviar Green series of hard drives should be the choice you make for data storage.
The season is going to be something of a turbo league, we have been thinking of ways to address the issue of a lack of time before Christmas and this is what I came up with. We will still have the same standard number of teams competing in the leagues so everyone gets a go. The divisions will be split into two groups, those groups will compete over a 3 week group stage, ending in a groups finals and then the winners of each group will compete in a division final. The groups final will consist of the winner of each group playing the runner up of the opposite group in the division, ie group A winner vs group B runner up.
Note: this mini-season, we have added a Professional division
- feel free to call it 'CGp'.
