rau i agree somewhat with what you said, but they neevr did explore two face much, he is a MUCH larger part of the comics than many know, and couldve gone on to do more (but doesnt matter too much anyway, they have loads of other villains to use).

i expect penguin for the next movie, most articles ive read on what people expect for the next one points to having the penguin as a middle character (i.e. not someone as big as the joker, but more important than say... alfred - bad example). probably link him up with the mafia as their supplier of arms, etc

id love to see bane come into it (he was dumbed down massively for batman forever, ruined the character), would be awesome to see

Ledgers performance was actually astonishing, he captured a maniacal suburban terrorist perfectly lol. saying that though, who ever wrote the script also did an amazing job.

i was thinking for the next movie that the villain would be either A) penguin and it would be interesting to see who gets cast as that. Or B the Riddler. If they are following some of the sequence and simply remaking the batman movies then it would be right to assume that either of those 2 villains would be the next in line.

However, i actually feel sorry for the person who is cast to play the next batman villain. Ledger just shone in that movie and pretty much made it.

I'm hoping for the Riddler as the next villain. And I agree - whoever is cast as the next bad guy is gonna have to pull the performance of his life to stand up to Ledger.

if its true that would actually be pretty sweet. he could pull of a pretty good riddler. Pretty much he's wonka character on evil drugs.

na, heard it from this guy in my uni course thats fully into batman and he goes its been confirmed and they start shooting in a few months but i dont know he could be making it up...

I've already accepted the offer to play the Penguin in the next upcoming Batman movie.

outofwack that guys talking shit haha. the batman movies are currently on 3 year cycles (i.e. 3 years in between movies), script hasnt even been written nor anyone cast for the next one

perfect person to play the penguin: bob hoskins. as i said up above, most doubt hell be a main villain himself, hell be an in between character

riddler would be great, johny depp would be alright as the part... but i think id rather someone else. i really think Cillian Murphy (guy who played scarecrow from Begins) wouldve been so good as the riddler (and if you want to see how good this guy is watch sunshine)... but that wont happen now.
