1SK is a community of like-minded individuals who enjoy playing Xbox 360 first person shooters games online via Xbox Live. Although 1SK is one of the more well known Australian Xbox clans due to their feats in the competitive arena on Xbox 360, most of the founding members of 1SK got to know each other following the release of Halo 2 on the original Xbox many years ago. With the release of Rainbow Six Vegas on Microsoft's new console, 1SK was officially formed in March 2007, and joined the Aussiexbox Clan Ladders for the first time.
After losing their first official match by a competitive margin against the battle-hardened and previously undefeated GT clan, 1SK embarked on a significant streak of wins that saw it eventually take number one spot from arch rivals, the Black Dragons. 1SK remained in top spot on the Aussiexbox ladder for many months, defeating challenger after challenger. 1SK also entered into Xboxzone's Australian Rainbow Six Vegas tournament during this time, and won the grand final without being defeated in a single match.
With the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, 1SK moved on from Rainbow Six Vegas and competed in the inaugural, Activision sponsored, GotGames COD4 Competition. After many months of competition, 1SK eventually lost to Malice in a legendary three hour Grand Final. During this time, 1SK also entered a team in the Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Aussiexbox ladder, and were similarly successful until they eventually retired due to lack of competition.
Further down the track, 1SK competed in Cybergamer's COD4 Search and Destroy ladder and managed a runner's up position, losing the Grand Final 2-1 to Frenetic Array. Following this the 1SK guys decided to take it easy and back away from the competitive scene for a short while - only for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) to be released and reignite the clan's passion for competitive gaming.
MW2 did not seem to be a game of many accomplishments for 1SK. The team's lack of interest in the game itself, sparked some unfortunate losses though the team managed to compete in the MW2 CGi and CGm Leagues but - to little astonishment - were unsuccessful. The 1SK MW2 teams were glad the reign of MW2 ended when Black Ops was released.
Again, 1SK has entered two teams into the Black Ops S&D Ladders and aims to be competitive with both teams though in different quantities; one team representing 1SK as a 'Pro' team, the other a more intermediate side though still has the capacity to conquer their endeavours.
All the while, Mankind is doing us proud with his uber FIFA skills.
