ANTI CHEAT
All players must be running Universal Anti Cheat 3, for their matches, you can obtain uac3 from here

In the event you are unable to log in to uac3 - please ensure you confirm this with an admin before progressing the match from lobby.

NOTE: All uac3 screenshots are to be uploaded in a reasonable period following completion of your match. Please ensure this is no later than 24 hours following match completion, or in the event of any issues with this upload feature, please advise an admin

CYBER GAMER MW2 SEARCH AND DESTROY LADDER COMPETITION INFORMATION

*When challenging a team, you are to offer x4 (four) maps for the defenders pick. 3 (three) of those maps are to be standard maps that came with the game, and 1 (one) of those maps are to be one of the maps provided through DLC. The defending team then has the option of choosing a DLC map if their players have them and can support it, or playing a standard map packed with the original game. If the challenging team does not have the map pack, then they are permitted to choose another standard map as their 4th choice.
Example:
1. Challenger has map packs, choose 3 normal maps and 1 DLC map to offer the defender.
2. Challenger does not have map packs, choose 4 normal maps.

* All matches are played in a 5v5 format. (your team must have 4 players in the server by 15 minutes after your match starting time, or your team receives a forfeit).

* Challenging side always starts as Rangers or TF 141.

* Defending team has preference to host provided they are located on the Australian mainland and can provide a stable good ping for both teams.

* Players must use their CG user names in Wars to stop confusion with other players.
Failing to do so will result in a 1 week ban from online play.

* A player is an ELIGIBLE PLAYER to play in a teams ladder match if they satisfy ALL of the following:
- the players Cyber Gamer account is listed on the teams Cyber Gamer roster (contained in you Cyber Gamer team page);
- the players Cyber Gamer account is not listed as "Not Eligible" (To be eligible to play in the match, each player needs to have been added to your team roster BEFORE the match has been accepted. Players added after the match has been accepted will appear as "Not eligible" on your team page);
- the player has not played in another Cyber Gamer match for another team in the current week (a week starts on a Sunday). So you can only play for one team between any Sunday->Saturday. Meaning if you play for one team on Sunday, and another on Thursday, you are breaking the rules;
- the players uac3 account is correctly linked to their Cyber Gamer profile, and the player has uac3 running correctly; and
- the players current in game alias matches (or is reasonable similar to) their Cyber Gamer account name (alongside their clan / team name or symbol).

* Note: Smurfing in a match (playing for a team that you arn't in the roster for) will result in you being banned for 1 week and the match result will be overturned. This includes creating multiple alias accounts. On the second offence you will be banned for 2 weeks. 3rd etc offences will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. If a player is going to be playing from a different physical location (Different IP Address), this player will need to have strict permission from a Ladder Administrator to do so. Otherwise the team will receive an instant automatic forfeit from their match and the player(s) will be banned for smurfing.

*You must conduct a lag/ping test "prior" to your match going live. This test is to have the host start the game in "death match" mode, and have a duration of at least 60 seconds. In the event the host is not suitable for the match, the attacking team can then try one of their host's with the same ping test taking place. In the event no suitable host can be found, captains are to contact an admin, who will attend the lobby and sort out a suitable rectification. The admin may choose to host themselves, or postpone the match until a suitable host can be acquired.

*In your "match page", captains must post their steamID so as the opposing team has sufficient contact for the match to take place. Failure to either post your steamID, or add another team to your friends, will result in your match being over turned at the admin's discretion.

*Once you have set the rules correctly (below), you will need to invite all the players. You should just need to invite one of the captains from the opposing teams, they can then invite all of their team in. There is no way for the players that join the server to verify the match settings from the game lobby so once the match starts it's easy enough to see if anything is not done right. If there are any problems with the settings you need to tell the other team immediately and you can re-create the server otherwise it is assumed you are happy with the settings. Even if they are slightly wrong and the match is completed, you have no right to dispute for something you should have brought up at the start of the match, or when found out. Do not bring up a dispute for incorrect rules, as no match will be over-turned, the score/win will count.

*Make sure a password is set at all times whilst in the match. You can change the password to something simple before going live, but make sure both teams know the password prior to starting. If a password is not set, and random people join the game, ask them nicely to leave first, if they do not, take a screen shot of current scores, return to lobby, kick the player, set a password, then resume the match as per the scores you screen shoted.

*Once the settings have been set, and the ping test has taken place, start the match. All players are not to choose any side or weapon class upon entry. Simply press "esc" key, and wait in the lobby section until both teams have fully entered the game, and the captains of both teams have stated they are ready to start the match. Then choose your team and weapon class, and the match is then considered live on the start of the first round.

*Global chatting throughout the war, and voice communication, is to be made by captains of the teams ONLY. Any player global chatting that is found to be offensive, or disruptive to the game in any way, will receive a week match ban. If you come across this, simply take a screen shot and report to an admin. Please note: Only in severe cases will the match result be over turned for this offense, make sure you provide plenty of evidence when requested.

*A screen shot of the final scores are to be taken by both teams. This is to be retained and supplied if requested by an admin. You can also choose to directly upload the screen shot to the match page. Press F12 and steam will take a screen shot.

*If at any stage of the match the host is to drop out, both teams are required to take screen shots of the current scores, and return to a lobby. A new host from there is decided upon (see above details on other team hosting or admins hosting), and the match will resume with the current scores as per the screen shots.

*Upon completion of the game, both captains are to chat in lobby to clarify the final score, and those scores are to be entered in the match page.

*If a team accepts a challenge and doesn't show up to the match then please enter scores 13-0 in favor of your team.

*If the match is to go into "dispute", captains are advised to contact an admin ASAP, and post a rough description of why they are disputing in the match page. PLEASE NOTE: If you dispute over something not in the rules, or if you dispute without providing evidence to the admins, you will face disciplinary action at the discretion of the admins.

*If you feel you require a referee for your match, please request this from the match page. Note at this time that the admins will be attending to this, and as such may not be able to attend all matches requested. Match referees are intended to assist with any higher level match as necessary - act as a potential host, and also ensure teams are playing fairly. They are giving their spare time to assist you so please be fair. Referees are also not to be used in place of the dispute system. If you have an issue in game, feel free to mention it to the match referee, who may make a ruling, but you will need to take it to dispute following completion of the match in most instances.

OT OVERTIME
In the event of a draw the host will end the server and select round switching to be 3 rounds, the match may be restarted and teams will start on the same side they started the match on.
This will work the same as COD4 OT rules shown below.
Quote from COD OT Rules:
In the event of a draw, the overtime system comes into the fold, consisting of SIX rounds (two THREE round halves) until a winner is found. Thus, no match will result in a draw.

Anti Cheat
UAC3 is to be used for all war's in Modern Warfare 2 Cyber Gamer Competitions. Each team is expected to have downloaded, and be able to successfully run one of these programs during CG matches. After the completion of every match, the player is to upload their screenshots. Failure by any player to either not run, nor upload information at the end of the match, can result in a 1 week match ban from Cyber Gamer competition on the second offence you will be banned for 2 weeks. 3rd etc offences will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Each player is expected in their Cyber Gamer profile, to have their uac3 link displayed in their cg profile, failure to do this, can result in a 1 week match ban. If any player is having troubles with uac3, they are expected to contact an admin ASAP to discuss and try to sort out a resolve, it is your own responsibility to gain the knowledge and setup your game sufficiently to run this program. We make ourselves available to all teams as much as we possibly can, and the best way to resolve any issue, is get us in there to make a decision that both teams can accept.

CYBER GAMER MW2 COMPETITION RULES
*All players are required to use their Cyber Gamer account, or a name similar to name along side their clan/team tag. However misleading/different names used by opponents (unless in direct conflict with another player's name) is not justification for a match dispute. If uncertain of a player's identity, ask for their Cyber Gamer name Playing a player that is not on your roster will result in a forfeiture of the match. Teams are strongly urged to keep their rosters up to date...
* Smurfing in a match (playing for a team that you arn't in the roster for) will result in you being banned for 1 week and the match result will be overturned. This includes creating multiple alias accounts. On the second offence you will be banned for 2 weeks. 3rd etc offences will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis...
*If a player is going to be playing from a different physical location (Different IP Address), this player will need to have strict permission from a Ladder Administrator to do so. Otherwise the team will receive an instant automatic forfeit from their match and the player(s) will be banned for smurfing.
* Both teams have FIFTEEN minutes from the match start time to have a minimum of FIVE of their own players in the game lobby. Teams are allowed to substitute players through the match, provided they quickly join their team. If a team drops to 3 or less players during the match, they have a maximum of 5 minutes to get a minimum of 4 players back in or they will forfeit the match. If a side has less then 4 players available in the game lobby at the 15 minute mark then the match should not go ahead, the team with 4 or less players forfeits. However if both sides agree to play the match with less than the minimum required players then the match result will stand - a steam chat showing agreement will only be allowed as evidence in this instance. If you agree to the match going ahead in a Steam Chat and you start the match, the result will stand, you cannot try to forfeit a team afterwards... Similarly, if the opposition agrees, but does not want to play, you cannot claim victory.
* If you both agree to play a match then you cant try to forfeit for something that you should have forfeited for at the beginning of the match... don't waste peoples time..
* All players should have an average ping below 150 ping. If 3 of your players have more than 150 ping, then you forfeit the match, unless the other team specifically allows the match to go ahead. If there is an issue with a player warping then it should be addressed immediately. The round will should be called dead and if the problem continues the said player should be subbed out ending the next round. To view a players ping press and hold TAB. Please do not play the match out and then dispute on ground of ping.
* Do not talk excessively in global chat in-game, especially when you are asked by the other team. Being abusive will lead to a forfeit of the match at the ladder administrator's discretion.
* Glitching and scripting are considered illegal and unfair and will result in the loss of any rounds where they are used. Glitching by definition: where a player is in a position that allows him to see his opponent however his opponent cannot see him.
* Permitted spectators are shout casters whom hold the right to hold a shout cast broadcast in whichever match they wish.
* Unsportsmanlike behaviour will be dealt with at the discretion of a ladder administrator.
* Making false/useless disputes will be dealt with at the discretion of a ladder administrator.
*To be eligible to play in the match, each player needs to have been added to your team roster BEFORE the match has been accepted. Players added after the match has been accepted will appear as "Not eligible" on your team page.
Secondly, players added to your team roster are only allowed to play in the match provided the player has not played in another Cyber Gamer match for another team in the current week (a week starts on a Sunday). So you can only play for one team between any Sunday->Saturday. Meaning if you play for one team on Sunday, and another on Thursday, you are breaking the rules.
* Inappropriate Team Names or Player Names, or Team or Player graphical avatars will see your team removed from the ladder, a warning will usually be issued first.

CYBER GAMER MW2 SOFTWARE INFORMATION RULES
* A team can only challenge an opponent half their own rank or four places higher than themselves, whichever is greater. For example: a team ranked 38th can challenge up to a team that is ranked 19th.
* Upon receiving a notice of challenge, the team has TWO days to accept a time and date provided by the challenger for the match, otherwise it is deemed that the defendant has forfeited.
* If a team successfully defends their position, the ladder automatically grants a *protected* status for FORTY-EIGHT hours, awarding immunity from challenges.
* Challenging and winning will leave you with a normal status of "free".
* If you lose a "Challenging" match you will become "vulnerable" for FORTY-EIGHT hours where you will be unable to challenge.
