CS Season 1 Invite Leagues

user

Well the time has come that we moved beyond just a simple open ladder to give you 1.6 junkies something to play and fired up some invite leagues. The way CyberGamer Invite leagues work is that their is 3 skill divisions, invite, main, and amateur. Naturally we will only run with the leagues that are filled depending on registrations.

Teams line up in 8 team skill groups and battle it out playing each of the other teams in their group on set nights over 7 weeks with the top4 teams advancing to the semifinals and grand final where they battle it out in best of 3 encounters. The leagues are pay to play and will be introduced futher down.

Easy Anti Cheat the known and commonplace anticheat on both CyberGamer and CSCOMP/IPGN servers will be used for the season. Players are still required to record demos of all of their matches and hold them for 2 weeks and be able to provide them on request from league administrators.

With the leagues kicking off we would ask that all teams make use of the CS1.6 Results forum and post match writeups of the game, this can be done be either the winning or losing side. We also ask that teams treat eachother with respect and good sportsmanship throughout the season.

The invite league is for the cream of the crop in Australian CounterStrike. These teams have demonstrated time and time again the players and skillsets to compete at the highest levels of competition. This league comes with a $50 per team entry fee which can be paid via CyberGamers Pay to Play event management system.
Payment Portal:

The main league is for teams that are really emerging in the community and showing the poise and depth to bring top level gaming to their matches. This is the battleground where teams go head to head fighting for the right to be promoted to the invite league. This league comes with a $25 per team entry fee which can be paid via CyberGamers Pay to Play event management system.
Payment Portal:

The amateur league is for teams that have been together for a while or have newly formed and want to pit their skills against fellow motivated organised teams. The amateur teams are out there to prove that they are worthy to advance to the main league to stake their claim amongst the emerging professional teams. This league...
