Submit a support ticket with as much relevant information as possible by clicking support [next to pro shop] in the top navigation bar.
2 - Registration & Membership Accounts
2.1 - Register
To register at CyberGamer you must agree to follow the CyberGamer terms and conditions. Your registration information and profile infomation should be correct
2.2 - Accounts
All Players are required to be a member of CyberGamer
www.CyberGamer.com.au. Account names containing the following will not be tolerated: racism, abuse, drug use; these are all examples of unacceptable names. Players found with offensive names will have their name edited to something more appropriate by an admin. If a member is found to be using an account name that is deemed offensive after having it changed by an admin, that member will be issued a warning. If the rule is violated a second time, that member may be banned from the forums and/or matches.
3 - Player Requirements
3.1 - Information
Personal information submitted by each member for his or her profile must be accurate. Profiles, comments, names, or other information posted on the website deemed offensive to the general public will be edited, with possible member warnings.
3.2 - SteamID's
Players are only allowed one SteamID. If any player is caught playing with a different SteamID, the player/team will face consequences, after your first game your SteamID will be recorded. If you require a steam id change submit a support ticket, we will require reasons.
note: The CG Servers automatically scan and detect ip addresses. These addresses are then matched to Steam ID's and player accounts. Be sure the account that is created is registered by YOU and that you will be playing from your registered IP. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the penalties detailed in section 6.3 & 6.4.
3.3 - Sportsmanship
Un-sportsmanship during, prior or after matches will not be tolerated by CG. CyberGamer suggests that all teams conduct themselves accordingly. If a player or team is found guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct, punishments will be issued at admin discretion.
3.4 - Ingame alias
Although CG rules state that it would be appropriate for players to use the same ingame alias as their CG account, one may have a different ingame alias to their CG account – but must explain who they are upon request. Inappropriate ingame aliases will not be tolerated: racism, abuse, drug use are all examples of unacceptable handles. Players found with offensive names will be contacted by the referee (if one is present) and asked to edit their name to something more appropriate. If a member is found to be using a handle that is deemed offensive after being asked to have it changed the referee, that member will be issued a warning. If the rule is violated a second time, that player may be removed from the match.
3.5 - Team Captains
The dedicated team captain has total control of his/hers team. The captain has the right to remove any player on his/her team. The team captain has an obligation to the other members on the team to perform and lead by example.
3.6 - Captain Absences or Changes
In the event of a team captain being absent, an acting captain is responsible for the team. The acting captain is to be announced to the other team and referee to avoid confusion should a dispute arise.
3.7 - Mutiny
In the unlikely event of a mutiny, players can request to have the captain removed at any time. All requests must be sent to a senior admin and must contain the following information.
Team name:
Name of Capt (to be removed):
Name of Player to replace them as captian.
Your Alias and full name:
A reason for the request.
Over 75% of the current roster must submit this request in writing before any action will be taken by CG.
4 - Team Information
4.1 - Activation
To be an activated team the team must have a minimum of six [6] players (if applicable).
4.2 - Team Rosters
CG require all teams to have a six [6] player roster. CyberGamer would prefer a minimum of an eight [8] player roster, but at this stage will not enforce this rule. Teams have a unlimited amount of players they can add to their roster(Open). Turning up to matches without at least five [5] players will be penalized with a forfeit or as the admin panel deem necessary. Continually breaking this rule will lead to suspension and possibly removal from the CG ladder.
4.3 - Roster Changes
Teams can change their roster as much as they like as long as players are eligible to play the match. [League only] Players can not be added or removed from a roster during the lock period without an Administrators approval and only in circumstances such as:
* The opposition teams captain agrees to the player / s being added and it has been approved by an adminsitrator
* If a team loses a player which leaves them short of the minimum needed to participate. Just because a team loses a player does not mean an administrator will allow the adding another player to the roster
4.4 - Permanent Roster Lock [League only]
Once a competition enters its permanent roster lock period NO PLAYERS will be allowed to join or leave a team. Exceptions will only be made for extreme circumstances which include but are not limited to natural disasters and death. If a team cannot field the required number of players to participate in a finals match, a roster addition maybe be allowed but only with the approval of every teams captain participating in the finals.
4.5 - Team Name
Team names containing any of the following will not be tolerated: profanity, racism, sexism, drug use, silly or too big in size. Teams found to be breaking this rule will have it changed to something more appropriate by an admin. If a team is found to be using a team name that is deemed offensive after having it changed by an admin, that team will be issued a warning. If the rule is violated a second time, that team may be removed from the event and no refund will be issued.
5 - Player Responsibilities
5.1 - POV
POV demos must be recorded once you join the CG server, if you disconnect and reconnect you must start recording again. There will be NO excuse to not have a POV demo. Teams are to hold their POV for at least one [1] week after their match. An administrator may request a player or teams demo at any time, whether or not a dispute has been put forward. Not complying with administrators request will result in the player(s) being banned and their team forfeiting the game.
NB: To take a POV demo: type "record <demoname>" in user console (~ button, must be activated in options menu).
6 - Game Play Requirements
6.1 - Information
A Match consists of two [2] twenty [20] minute halves for ALL divisions. Scoring is done by Tick Ponts. Teams are awarded points for the amount of time that they hold flags. Teams that cap out are awarded 50pts. For example a score of 2(+30) will be 2x50+30 = 130pts. The team with the highest amount of points for both halves added together wins the match. In the event of a draw in finals time, two [2] five [5] minute overtime round halves will be played, and if this does not determine a winner, then the overtime round will be played again, ad infinitum. In order to start your match, type in "rcon_password <here>", and then "mp_clan_readyrestart 1".
6.2 - Minimum Players / No Show / Time
You must have a minimum of four (4) players in the server from your starting time. If you don't have a minimum of four [4] players to start the match your team will forfeit the match. In the event of a no show, it is required of teams to take a console status screenshot of their steamids. You have 15 minutes to get [5] or it is a forfeit to the other team.
6.3 - Smurfing
Smurfing is using a player/s from another team's roster or players having multiple accounts playing for multiple teams and punishments may be handed out to both the team and the offending player/s. Players can also show up as smurfing if playing from another location from where they originally registered. The team captain needs to notify the admins of what will be happening. Failing to do so the player will show as smurfing and will be treated as one. If a team is caught using smurfing player/s, they will automatically lose that match (the match will be overturned if the team that won the match was guilty).
6.4 - Using Non Registered Players
Teams can not use non-registered players, ineligible players are considered not registered. Using a player who is not registered is considered a violation. If a team is caught using a non-registered player/s, they will automatically lose that match (the match will be overturned if the team that won the match was guilty).
6.5 - Suspended Players
Suspended players who play in a match will have their match ban increased or permanently banned from all CG servers, with possible penalties applied to their team at the discretion of administrators.
6.6 - Global Chat
Teams may use global chat (mm1) during a live ladder match, but kept to a MINIMUM. Significantly abusive banter and/or racism will not be tolerated. Failure to abide by this rule will result in discretionary punishment.
6.7 - Player Dropouts / Connections
Player connections are solely the responsibility of the individual. Should an issue arise regarding widespread connection problems to the server, then the referee will inform both teams that the match is either cancelled or postponed. If there is no referee ingame then one team captains of the match will make a dispute and the match will rescheduled. Rescheduling of matches will be done so through the communication of both team captains in regards to their availability and dependent upon prior bookings made on CG servers. If the match is played out scores will stand if either team disputes for server problems, to reschedule you must not play the match and put in a dispute.
6.8 - Rates
Rates should be minimum 40/40/15000, maximum 101/101/30000 in all matches unless you are capped. Admins can ask you to change your rates at any time if they are unacceptable.
6.9 - Capped Rates
Capped rates can be used. Admins have the right to ask you to change them however if your rates are not acceptable.
6.10 - Player Substitutions
Teams are allowed to make substitutions at any stage of the match. The player coming in must wait until the player he is replacing has left. A failure to acknowledge this will have repercussions for the offending team.
6.11 - Players Leaving Early
All players are expected to remain in the server until the conclusion of the match. Leaving a match early is considered unsportsmanlike conduct and, at the discretion of CG admins, suspensions may be issued if repeated or egregious violations occur.
6.12 - Class Limits
The classes in the server will be limited to three [3] rifle class users, two [2] support class users, one [1] sniper class user and the option for one [1] assault class user.
7 - Match Environment
7.1 - Models / Skins

All Players are required to use default sprites (players, smoke, weapons), with the exception of custom crosshairs and certain HUD mods (iNsane's HUD, etc.). If any player or team is caught using non-standard sprite during a league match or event, it will be considered an infringement of CyberGamer rules and will results in a player and team penalty at administrator discretion.
7.4 - Custom Sprays
The use of offensive in any league match. However, the severity of the punishment will vary depending on the content of the spray. Sprays that contain pornographic content, racial content, unsportsmanlike content, replicated models, features or textures will lead to harsher penalties. Nevertheless, the use of offensive spray will be considered a violation of the rules, and penalties and punishments will be given.
7.5 - Outside Applications
Using outside applications to manipulate, change or alter the gaming environment is a major offence. This will result in the immediate suspension/ban of a player and/or team and will be considered a cheating violation. This will most likely lead to an extended or sometimes permanent ban from all CyberGamer events.
8 - Exploits
8.1 - Clipping
Clipping is the process of positioning through any solid object or layer, or when a particular team or player can successfully sees over, under, through, any solid object, layer or entity. CyberGamer determines clipping as a major offence. Violations will results in reversal of that particular round, suspension of the particular players, and other penalties and punishments deemed to fit necessary from the admin panel.
8.2 - Map Exploits
Using any exploits or map glitches to gather an advantage over the opposition (e.g. clipping), will lead to a player/team penalties.
8.3 - Boosting
Boosting via props to glitch/exploit over the top of maps is considered illegal. Any players or teams found performing illegal boosts will face punishments.
8.4 - Cheats / Hacking
Is the process of manipulation of server configurations, client, model, skins, entities, textures, weapon, sounds, or anything that illegally changes the settings listed within CyberGamer Rules. Hacks include wall hacks, aim bots, speed hacking, ESP, third party program or anything that gives you an advantage over others. Cheats / Hacking will likely result in a permanent ban from ALL CyberGamer events, and discretionary punishment by administrators. This ladder has ZERO TOLERANCE policy on any cheating / hacking.
8.5 - Spawn Rules
This DoD:S Ladder does NOT penalise for spawn nades / spawn camping at any point of the match. Players may nade the enemy spawn / shoot into it at NO penalty. However, the one exception is if it is blatantly obvious that one team is camping the spawn and refusing to cap out. In this case, subjective penalties may be issued at admin discretion.
9 - Servers
9.1 - Crashes
In the event of a server crash:
* If under ten [10] minutes have been played, the half is restarted.
* If ten [10] or more minutes have been played, the half is restarted but the score retained.
* If the server doesn't come up make a dispute about it and the match will be void or replayed.
If there is a referee (or an admin) they will inform the relevant teams that the match has been canceled, postponed or moved to another server. Communication with team captains is crucial, and we would appreciate if teams were idling #CyberGamer @ Gamesurge.net should any issue arise. CyberGamer will seek to inform players ASAP of all server and connectivity conditions.
9.2 - Problems
Should an issue arise regarding widespread connection problems to the server (example lag), then the referee will inform both teams that the match is either canceled or postponed.
10 - Disputes
10.1 - Player/ Team Disputes
Disputes made in regards to an individual or team actions during a match should be made AFTER the completion of the match.
10.2 - Dispute Process
All disputes made by members of the leagues will be attended not necessarily resolved within a timeframe of one [1] day. We endeavor to make the decisions as quick and as conclusive as possible, but teams/players need to recognize the workload that exists for admins. Teams are not to contact/ hassle administrators by private message or any other means unless requested by an administrator. If you can't wait for administrators to resolve the dispute patiently then DO NOT dispute the match and/or take the loss. EVERYTHING IS SAID AND KEPT IN THE DISPUTE.
Note that should any dispute arise while the match is LIVE, players/teams will be told to COMPLETE the match as normal. A review of what happened can be made after an official dispute is lodged after the match has been completed. CG admins have the final say on the matter. Unless a team can shed new evidence in regards to their dispute, then there is no appeal process available to teams.
Teams must find all evidence on the HLTV demo (round/time). Players have 24 hours after the demo is uploaded to find and submit the footage. If admins agree with the dispute, the player(s) or team in question will be asked to upload their POV demo.
10.3 - Dispute Submission
A dispute made by a team will only become official when the captain of that team lodges an official dispute. When making a dispute please make it as understandable as possible and have evidence if applicable. Players are not allowed to make individual disputes themselves, and these will be ignored. All disputes a team may have must be lodged by the designated team captain.
10.4 - Evidence
Submit all evidence relevant, administrators should not have to ask. All teams that are requested to submit information/evidence are expected to do so within twenty-four [24] hours.
10.5 - Discussion of Disputes
Discussion of disputes is STRICTLY forbidden to the admins of CyberGamer only. All things can be said in the dispute DO NOT go pming or iming administrators. If the administrators decide further evidence is needed, a request will be made to the relevant team to submit their POV demos. STV proxy demos will also be used.

At the start of each match the team that issued the challenge receives first pick at which side they wish to commence on.
12 - Challenging / Defending
12.1 - Challenging numbers
A team can only challenge an opponent half their own rank or four [4] places higher than themselves, whichever is greater. For example: a team ranked 38th can challenge up to a team that is ranked 19th. A team may not play the same team in two successive matches* - seven [7] days after the first match the ladder will allow you to challenge them again.
12.2 - Challenging deadline
Upon receiving a notice of challenge, the team has two [2] days to accept a time and date provided by the challenger for the match, otherwise it is deemed that the defendant has forfeited.
12.3 - Defending
If a team successfully defends their position, the ladder automatically grants a protected status for forty-eight [48]hours, awarding immunity from challenges.
12.4 - Statuses
Challenging and winning will leave you with a normal status of "free". If you lose a "Challenging" match you will become "vulnerable" for forty-eight [48] hours where you will be unable to challenge. If you lose a "Defending" match you will become "vulnerable" for twelve [12] hours where you will be unable to challenge. If you do not accept a challenge or you decline the challenge you will become "vulnerable" for forty-eight [48] hours where you will be unable to challenge.
12.5 - Submitting Scores
Following a match, it is crucial that each team must submit the result or select to dispute the match by 11:30PM AEST on the night of the match. Subsequently, the submitted results will be calculated and the teams will be granted either challengeable or protected statuses. Disputes can be handled among the two teams; otherwise an administrator takes appropriate action.
12.6 - Referees
There are referees in CyberGamer matches and will join matches at their own discretion.
12.7 - Shoutcasters
Other permitted spectators are shoutcasters whom hold the right to hold a shoutcast broadcast in any match they wish.
13 - Punishments
13.1 - Punishments
