Player Rules:
*Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring all members of their team understand and follow these rules set forth by the CyberGamer League. Violation of any requirement listed here will result in the suspension of the offending player(s) as well as other match penalties as determined by league administrators. If you do not understand these rules clearly, it is YOUR responsibility to seek clarification from a league official.

Player Conduct:
*Any offensive behavior is strictly prohibited and can result in being disqualified from the
game in question, or even the league or tournament as a whole depending on the severity of
the issue at hand.

Player Knowledge:
*Players are responsible that they know, and understand all the rules. It is also their responsibility to check the rules often to see if there are any changes. Not "knowing" will never be an accepted excuse.

International teams:
* International teams are entitled to participate in this ladder.
* CyberGamer must advise that Asia-Pacific teams will have a time zone preference, unless something else can be arranged between the two teams.

Disputes:
*A dispute can be made if a player/team has been disruptive/breaking any rules. Please only dispute a match if you have evidence/logs to support your dispute. A false dispute will be dealt with by the admins potentially resulting in a match ban.

Dispute Process:
*All disputes made by members of the leagues will be attended not necessarily resolved within a time frame of one [1] day. We endeavor to make the decisions as quick and as conclusive as possible, but teams and players need to recognize the workload that exists for admins. Teams are not to contact or hassle administrators by private message or any other means unless requested by an administrator. If you can't wait for administrators to resolve the dispute patiently then DO NOT dispute the match and/or take the loss. All dispute chat is to be left within the dispute and not posted on the public forums or elsewhere.

Evidence:
*Submit all evidence relevant, administrators should not have to ask. All teams that are requested to submit information/screenshots/replay evidence are expected to do so within twenty-four [24] hours.

How the ladder works:
* A team can only challenge an opponent half their own rank or four places higher than themselves, whichever is greater. For example: a team ranked 38th can challenge up to a team that is ranked 19th.
* Upon receiving a notice of challenge, the team has TWO days to accept a time and date provided by the challenger for the match, otherwise it is deemed that the defender has forfeited.
* If a team successfully defends their position, the ladder automatically grants a *protected* status for FORTY-EIGHT hours, awarding immunity from challenges.
* Challenging and winning will leave you with a normal status of "free".
* If you lose a "Challenging" match you will become "vulnerable" for FORTY-EIGHT hours where you will be unable to challenge.
* If you lose a "Defending" match you will become "vulnerable" for TWELVE hours where you will be unable to challenge.
* If you do not accept a challenge or you decline the challenge you will become "vulnerable" for FORTY-EIGHT hours where you will be unable to challenge.
* Teams can not use non-registered players, ineligible players are considered not registered. Using a player who is not registered is considered a violation. If a team is caught using a non-registered player/s, they will automatically lose that match (the match will be overturned if the team that won the match was guilty).
* Following a match, it is crucial that each team must submit the result or select to dispute the match by 11:30PM AEST on the night of the match. Subsequently, the submitted results will be calculated and the teams will be granted either *challengeable* or *protected* statuses. Disputes can be handled among the two teams; otherwise a Ladder Administrator will take appropriate action.
