UNIVERSAL ANTICHEAT 3

  • UAC3 must be used in all matches on the Urban Terror TS Ladder. You can download UAC3 HERE.
  • Your UAC3 ID must be on your CG Profile.
  • Make sure you use the CORRECT MATCH ID in the UAC Match ID Field.
  • Failure to abide by these rules will result in bans at varying lengths depending on the circumstances and at the Admin's discretion.

Steps to using UAC3 in your Urban Terror games
  • Run UAC3.
  • Login to UAC3 (you'll need to make an account if it is the first time).
  • Press Play, wait for the Donation Information to load and then press 'OK'.
  • Enter your Match ID (which can be found on the CG Match Page).
  • Tick the 'Start Scanning' box.
  • Launch Urban Terror.
  • Play your match.
  • Once the match is over, close Urban Terror.
  • Go to UAC3 and the screenshots will upload automatically.
  • You can then close UAC3.

How to add your UAC3 ID to your CG Profile
  • Go to http://uac.ac/#search and type in your UAC Username.
  • Click on your Profile, and you should see your User ID there.
  • Go to your CG Profile on the CG Website and under 'Game Information' on the right hand side press 'Edit'.
  • In the UAC ID box type: UAC ID / UAC Username
  • For example, it should say: 169784 // atmosphere
  • Scroll down and press 'Save'.

Important Notes about UAC3
  • If your game crashes or you need to restart the game you will also need to restart UAC3 because once UAC3 notices UrT has closed, it will stop scanning and taking screenshots until you tell it to again.
  • If your UAC3 crashes before you get to upload screenshots, just re-open the program and it will prompt you to re-upload your screenshots. If it does not do this you can manually upload the screenshots by pressing 'REVIEW' on the Main Menu and then pressing 'Upload UAC files'.
  • UAC3 must always be used in an elevated permissions state (as in ran by an Administrator). To run as Administrator, right click UAC3's executable file and click 'Run as Administrator'.

RECORDING MATCHES

  • All players must record a demo of their matches. To do this: open console (~ key), type /record and press ENTER. You must keep the demos of your matches for atleast a month.
  • If players are found out to not be recording their matches, they will receive a 1 week Match Ban. Repeat offenders will be dealt with by Admins on a case by case basis.

GAME OPTIONS

  • Team Survivor matches will consist of two (2) 20 minute maps. Each map will consist of two and a half (2.30) minute rounds until the time limit. Both maps must be won in order to declare a winner. If both teams win one map, the match will be called a draw. However, a for-against system entailing the number of rounds lost/won in the entire match will be considered in order to facilitate ranking on the leader board.
  • Matchmode is enabled on CyberGamer servers. When a team captain joins their team at the start of each map, they will need to type ''/captain'' into the console, and pressing ENTER. They can remove their captain privileges by typing ''/captain'' into console once again. When your team is ready, at the start of each half, the captain should type ''/ready'' into the console. This command can be removed by typing ''/ready'' once again.
  • Although spectators are not permitted, extra players can still participate using the substitute feature. Teams are allowed only 1 ingame substitute during a CyberGamer match. Match modes substitute feature can be utilized by typing ''/sub'' into console. The same ''/sub'' command is used for competing players to become substitutes, and for substitutes to become competing players. Exploitation of the substitute feature, (eg. subs coming in without interchange and killing or damaging enemies, medic-ing team mates) will result in the loss of a round. Continuous exploitation will be dealt with at an administrators discretion. Teams cannot have more than 5 competing players at a given time.
  • Spectators are not permitted during a tournament match - apart from tournament officials. However, each team may have up to three (3) substitute players present. In order to be a substitute, a team member should join their respective team and then type "/sub" in the console. They will then be listed as [SUB] on the scoreboard. This enables them to view only their teammates and talk only with their teammates. In order to remove themselves from being a substitute, players should type "/sub" once more in the console. Please note that no additional players from either team may join the server once the scrim has begun unless a timeout has been called by your team.
  • Teams may substitute players at any time during a match and there is no limit to the number of substitutions that may occur. Substitutions must be performed quickly so as to cause minimum interference to gameplay. Teams may also call a timeout in order to facilitate substitutions.
  • If a team says "no more global chat" then both teams must stop posting in global. If global chat continues an admin will deal with this.

TIMEOUTS

Each team is permitted a total of two (2) and only 2 timeouts for each map. Timeouts may last up to 120 seconds each. These may be exercised at any time during the period of the match.

A team may import additional players to the server (provided the total number of players is no more than eight (8)) during a timeout if and only if the timeout has been called by the team in question.

FAILING TO SHOW UP

Teams have a total of 15 minutes to show up in the allocated server. If a team fails to show up on the agreed time and there hasn't been an agreement for a time change then the scores are entered 1-0 in the team that showed ups favor.
If a team leave half way through a game it is counted as a forfeit. Scores will be entered how they were when the team left.

GAME AND MAP EXPLOITS

It is forbidden to use map exploits during matches. Exploits are generally defined as:
  • accessing places with missing textures/abuse of missing textures
  • abusing obvious bugs in clipping
  • abusing sr8/other weapons firing glitches
  • *accessing places that require stacking of two or more players

In case it is not clear whether a place in a map is to be considered to be a map exploit, a decision will be met by a CyberGamer Admins.

CYBERGAMER URBAN TERROR COMPETITION RULES

  • Once both teams are in the game & declared ready by team captains, you must /ready. The defending team on the ladder is on the defence side of the map first.
  • Smurfing in a match (playing for a team that you aren't in the roster for) will result in the Admins reviewing the player and team in question and the match result will be overturned. This includes creating multiple alias accounts.
  • If a player is going to be playing from a different physical location (Different IP Address), this player will need to have strict permission from a Ladder Administrator to do so. Otherwise the team will receive an instant automatic forfeit from their match and the player(s) will be banned for smurfing.
  • Both teams have FIFTEEN minutes from the match start time to have a minimum of FOUR out of FIVE of their own players in the server. Teams are allowed to substitute players throughout the match, provided they quickly join their team. If a team drops to 3 or less players during the match, they have a maximum of 5 minutes to get a minimum of 4 players back in or they will forfeit the match. If a side has less than 4 players available in the game server at the 15 minute mark then the match should not go ahead and the team with less than 4 players forfeits. However if both sides agree to play the match with less than the minimum required players then the match result will stand. If you agree to the match going ahead and you start the match, the result will stand. You cannot try to forfeit a team afterwards.Similarly, if the opposition agrees, but does not want to play, you cannot claim victory.
  • If you both agree to play a match then you cant try to forfeit for something that you should have forfeited for at the beginning of the match - don't waste peoples time.
  • All players should have an average ping below 150 ping. If 3 or more of your players have more than 150 ping, then you forfeit the match unless the other team specifically allows the match to go ahead. If there is an issue with a player warping then it should be addressed immediately. The round will should be called dead and if the problem continues the said player should be subbed out ending the next round. To view a players ping press and hold TAB. Do not play the match out and then dispute on ground of ping.
  • Do not talk excessively in global chat in-game, especially when you are asked by the other team. Being abusive will lead to a forfeit of the match at the ladder administrator's discretion.
  • Permitted spectators are shout casters whom hold the right to hold a shout cast broadcast in whichever match they wish.
  • Unsportsmanlike behaviour will be dealt with at the discretion of a ladder administrator.
  • Making false/useless disputes will be dealt with at the discretion of a ladder administrator.
  • To be eligible to play in the match, each player needs to have been added to your team roster BEFORE the match has been accepted. Players added after the match has been accepted will appear as "Not eligible" on your team page.
  • Secondly, players added to your team roster are only allowed to play in the match provided the player has not played in another Cyber Gamer match for another team in the current week (a week starts on a Sunday). So you can only play for one team between any Sunday->Saturday. Meaning if you play for one team on Sunday, and another on Thursday, you are breaking the rules.
  • Inappropriate Team Names or Player Names, or Team or Player graphical avatars will see your team removed from the ladder, a warning will usually be issued first.
  • The consequences and/or ban and/or length of ban will be at the admins discretion for breaking the above rules.
