| Biography: |
| As a young kid I played N64 and later on got a PS2 but never played either of these seriously just for fun with friends and relatives and didn’t know a thing such as online gaming existed, on boxing day 2007 I went out and bought an xbox 360, I played it a little bit at first playing the single player games I got with it but quickly got over it and it started collecting dust in my lounge room. Later that year I met some one at my school who told me to get live and play online with him, that person was cheese. The first game I played online was the call of duty WAW beta, I happily played that with cheese having no clue a thing such as competitve gaming existed. After talking with some kid from school who I discovered also played video games told me and cheese to sign upto a place called CyberGamer.com.au and he told me all about what competitve gaming was, that kid was microshift a member of the PC side of CG. So me and cheese made a team called CCK Catastrophic Cantelope Krew we played for the majority of season 1 on the call of duty WAW ladder and made it as high up as ranked 20 and played some top teams such as Kaotic effects. The last match for CCK was against Veterans Of War. After the match VOW recruited Cheese as he was a natarual beast at Call Of Duty and with out the back pack that he was CCK broke up. I stopped playing xbox for a good 3 months and returned to CG around Febuary 2008. I never really played competitve WAW much but instead notoriously trolled CG it wasn’t till the grand final of season 2 between aspiRe and Fray that I heard my first shout cast done by acid and Jordo, at first I only listend to it because cheese was playing for aspiRe but was pulled in by the excitement Acid was able to generate, shortly after S2 of WAW, Cod WAW CGi started and I asked Acid if I could have a go at shout casting, he trialed me by putting me in a CGo match between Proximity and Redemption, I wasn’t a natarual like Acid, but as there wasn’t very many other casters at the time on 360 so Acid got me doing CGi casts and by round 5 of CGi I was practically doing every CGi cast with Acid. Over that time I also did a few CGo casts for both WAW and cod4 and I casted some of the COD4 finals with shieldsy which was also lots of fun. During this whole time I didn’t really play much myself until late 2009 when MW2 came out and iCrew took me on board as a sub, I started playing a lot of scrims and have really improved a lot as a player since then iCrew have had a tough season 1 playing pretty much every good team on the M2 ladder, but we should make it through to inter finals and be ready for iCrew when CGm starts  MW2 is yet to see much shoutcasting but hopefully we will be seeing several casts a week once CGi and CGm starts. It was a hot afternoon on the boxing day of december 2007 and I had just come back from JB hifi Frankston where I had purchased my very own xbox 360 console the pro bundle came with forza motor sport 2 and Viva Pinata, I purchased a few more game towards the start of 2008, oblivion, and some ea Sports games, after getting over them rather quickly My xbox began collecting dust for the next couple months till round September-October, at that time My school Friend Stuart ( MicroG33k told me about live, and CG, he was competing on PC. He also told my friend Rowan ( Cheese ) about it who had already been playing live for the past few months but was a terrible Pub randi. Cheese gave me a 1 month trial card, and I also got a 1month trial upon making my live account, me and cheese happily played the WAW beta, and when the game came out we made a team on CG the Legendary CCK catastrophic Cantelope krew. The team consisted of me + Cheese + randis we picked up from PUB who we convinced to make a CG account ( mainly New Zelanders -__- ) We finally scheduled our first match it was to be played out on Makin, the other team didn’t show and we got a walk over : D Our next match was against a team called WildBoyz, we went into this match super confident but got dick slapped, at the time I was playing on a sony 68 CM CRT, with no sound as tv was in lounge room and the game moises annoyed everyone in the house and I sat on a couch aprox 5 Metres away from TV, Pr0 set up is Pr0. We started to get some wins against teams who actually showed up, what our team lacked in Skill we made up for in enthusiasm. The match I probably remember best was against NMA ( no monkeys allowed ) Former good cod4 team who used to be led by Rohizle. The match was on castle and after a late start the game stretched on for ages going into Triple OT, this was all happening during the summer school holidays, and I had Friends coming over to my house that night, and they came probs round the first OT, I told em to piss of as I was really Keen to finish of this hektik clan match, they insisted on coming in ( probs went AFK for 2-3 round ) and I finshed the match with round 4 or 5 of my friend watching me play xbox burning my hair with a lighter, but my commitment to xbox was too strong and I finished the game, my friends always considerd me a geek since then but never the less I had finished one of the most epic matches in AUS cod, we lost but still was one of most memorable games of COD in my life. The highest we got on the ladder was probs round 17th spot were we challenged Kao ( kaotic effects ) for a top 10 spot, no Idea how we got that high on the ladder, we were so bad I remember us trying to throw nades on castle towards B bomb site and them getting stuck in Pink tree every time and we never figured out why we never saw the nades blow up LOL. Anywayz the KAO match finally came, it just happened to have been scheduled the day after I left for my holiday to Gold Coast QLD, the team got dropped hardcpre by Kao but cheese being the natarual COD beast he is went positive both rounds and got a honourable mention in the write up thread www.cybergamer.com.au/forums/thread/8923/CGo:-KaO-vs-CCK/ After that match VoW Veterans of War picked up cheese and they trained him to be one of the l33t’st players in AUS COD. never was in a decent team but then Acid picked me up as a shotu caster, cheese taught me a bit about COD and MW2 came out I joined ICrew and stopped being a complete scrub |
