About the squad...

The team was put together by Master-J-Doggy aka Joggy to be run as a semi serious competitive side. The clan had hoped that GA might start a league so that other Drunkards who are less competitive could get a weekly game, that team was supposed to be run by Smudge.

In the end GA decided to not run a CODWAW league and Joggy lost interest in the game as it didn't live up to our expectations.
Ninja2 aka Sheiru, took on the role of team Cpt with MooMoo appointing himself as 2ic.
After Ninja2 left for the UK the running of the team has been left up to Moo.
The running of the team is kinda free-form, there are no pracs, no scrims or any training whatsoever.
MooMoo picks the team and usually everyone within the Drunkards in rotated through the matches to give everyone who wants a game the chance to do so.

With that said it's a mixed bag of who might be playing in the weekly match.
Our regular line up includes..

Moom00 - team Cpt. was once the grimace at a local McDonald's restaurant

Ecleptic - aka zypher, sniper also known as Gorgeous Phil. Carry.

Bird - world renown pork rind taste tester, the 5th element.

k00Lm0dee - stunt doubled for one of the hobbits on the LOTR films, if you didn't know they could stack shit this high, guess again.

Funky - the ginger ninja, ranga in denial, lives in Canberra with Bubbles, is often wifed and not a regular starter.

About the Drunkards...

Drunkards In Combat was formed in August 2003 by BIRD & some frenchie after we both left *AUS* after being there for almost a year to create our own community of like minded gamers.

The clan started out as a Battlefield 1942 team which later expanded to include BF1942 mod DC Desert Combat. Shortly thereafter the clan expanded once again to include Call of Duty in it's line up of the games we play.
Since 2003 we've played a tonne of great competitive ladder based games, such as - Battlefield:Vietnam, BF2, BF2142, Joint Operations, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Source, Day of Defeat, COD1, COD:UO, COD2.

Currently we are playing COD4 S&D on both GA and CG, we play CODWAW S&D on GC, COH on CG in the 1v1,2v2 and 3v3 series.
Some of the clan play MMO's like eVe, WoW and Aion.

The clan's leadership and day to day running of the clan is shared between a small group of admins and a community appointed leadership council consisting of three people.
Our leadership group consists of - minor_69her, ironside and k00Lmodee
Our site admins are - Dilbery and Funky.

Typically the clan makes decisions as a group but in some cases a clan meeting is called to help make choices for the community in order to keep and to maintain our Drunkard ideals.

Joining the Drunkards....

Anyone who can legally consume booze can join the Drunkards
If you're under 18 we will still look at your application.

We play anything & everything, from FPS RTS to MMO RPG's, even sims. You're able to play anything and nothing at all, it's really up to you coz you're free to do your own thing.

As DIC continues to exist as a online community of gamers we will also accommodate for new teams as new games are released.
We encourage and support our members in building new teams.
All members have the opportunity to create and lead new teams, all you need to do is to have the leadership qualities to create, recruit and manage a team and fill it with new or existing members.

DIC is a fun place to be, most ppl have already been in for at least a couple of years and have tried a few other clans before finding us.

Our attitude towards competitive gaming is certainly to win but we're relaxed about how we achieve that.
Winning is great and games come and go but mates come first.
Hence, our motto is "Mates before the game"
