Overview: Not So Old Farts

Arising from the fiery battlefields of BF1942 Desert Combat, {=NSOF=} was founded by Snitch and NastyPieceofWork. After much deliberation about the name of the clan it was finally settled that we would be known as the Not So Old Farts. After a long hard haul trying to recruit players Snitch and Nasty finally managed to field a team in the GA DC ladder. After losing more than half of their members the clan had to recruit again to be able to field a team. So, recruit they did, and they managed to create a group of mates that had a really good time gaming together.

As the approach of BF2 neared, Snitch and Nasty handed the reins over to Doom, who by very good recruiting and a lot of time on servers managed to recruit even more players to field a team in the 1st GA 16v16 ladder to be run. Since then we have competed in multiple GA ladders and have achieved a good level of success in all formats of the game. Additionally to BF2 we merged into BF2142 upon release which saw another determined recruitment drive, and our numbers began to swell again. Since that point we have grown and branched into different genres and titles of online games. We currently play a number of different games including BF2, BF2142, COD4, Supreme Commander, Guild Wars, and WiC.

As we approach our 4th birthday later this year we have become a fairly large clan with almost 70 registered members. Through good sportsmanship, good conduct and great community relations we have built a solid and very reputable clan that holds a high level of respect from all sectors of the online FPS gaming community in Australia.
