Overview: >SIC| Rangers

We play for the enjoyment of the game. And pride ourself on maturity and good behaviour to set an example for the community. Although we like a bit of competitiveness because several of our players really don't like loosing.

In early 2008, Southern Cross Soldiers (SCS) and Team Rando -]R[- merged together to create the Southern Infantry Corps >SIC|. Once CoD4 was established things fell quiet on the CoD2 end, and the >SIC|Rangers were created by a select few who wanted to keep the fire going. Some recruitment of some seasoned yet mature players ensued, and voila! The team you see now.

We are primarily based in Melbourne as it turns out.

The core mob:

Blakz:
The main man so to speak, the force driving the team forward (ie. yelling at them). Able to pull out some amazing performances at times. Always refers to "strats I wrote in my chem lecture this morning" Top bloke, even though he has been developing some good old fashion cod2 'rage' lately. The better he seems to become the more frustrated he gets when being killed. Recently broke up with girlfriend so feel free to flirt with him.

ScottY_Xy:
One of the nicest fellas about this internet of ours(would drink with him any day)- enthusiastic, and motivated to help in the organisational stuff. Invaluable asset to the team in and out of game- always reliable in and out of the game. Seems to remove himself from harm in most situations- generally by rando headshotting some poor fella with rego out of this world. READ: Absolute beast with bolt-action. Scotty needs his scrim fix more than most, which keeps him one of our most active members. Likes B-ball and fishing with Quantum!

QuantuM:
Says "Gosh"alot. Often sighted with purple tags. Rates monopoly tycoon above CoD. Despite this questionable behavior, he is a great guy with the sense of humour like no other. A solid all round player who demonstrates time after time his truly text book team playing. I don't recommend trying to recruit him, because he will pull your leg and persist on being sent a team t-shirt and pair of shorts.

Souldat:
Listens to hardstyle (edit: not so much anymore, those days are numbered). Has vids of him 'busting out grooves' on his youtube. Good enough description? But seriously, a top cat who can make CoD look like an art form. Does Advertising at Uni apparently, which is handy coz you get crazy looking logos like above.

Panther:
Goes way back in this evolving community. This guy seems straight forward enough, he goes to uni, he plays footy, he drinks beer, and he plays CoD. Sacrifices must be made for this personality however; don't worry mate, the red hair will disappear one day. It's hard to get him away from COD1 coz he dominates it so much. But its truly a pleasure playing with him, the term "Ive got your back" is brought to a whole new level when playing with The Panth, I know im in safe hands with him around.
