NBA2K10 CGo Ladder : LOCKED

Official NBA 2K10 Ruleset -

Challenging

- Defending player gets first pick at which team they want to be.
- Defending player gets first pick whether they want to play at home or away.
- Players can not be same team!
- Any team jerseys can be picked.
- Quarter Length, 7 minutes
- Results to be input on result page using the actual score from the match. eg. 123 - 75.
- It is both players jobs to contact each other on the night of the match.
- Challenging player to host but a change in host may occur (If need be. A change in host can only be done in first quarter. After first quarter is finished the match must be played out.
- Players have 20 minutes to respond to one anothers friend requests/msgs/invites. After 20 minutes has past from the time that the match is scheduled for (eg. 7:30. Players must respond to one another by 7:50.) then the player not responding forfeits the match. For forfeited matches the scores 1-0 must be used as the result. All forfeits must be proven to admin that an attempt has been made to contact the opposition player and a response was not received.
- Only NBA teams can be selected. No All Star, Draft or Jordan teams can be used.

In-game settings -

- In order to play these matches, you must have each other as friends. Up to both people to do so.
- Challenging team (host) Must click on Quick game > Invite friend (little tab in the middle of team selection screen > select the friend you wish to invite > Next, select Invite to Custom match.

Here are the settings that must be made once in the custom match screen:
- Game Mode: Exhibition
- Privacy: Private
- Difficulty: Pro
- Quarter length: 7 minutes
- Fatigue: On
- Injuries: On
- Custom Game Sliders: Off
- Custom Game Options: Off
- Custom NBA rules: Off.

Drop out/ Rage quit situations -

- If match is in first half when someone drops out. The match is to be restarted. If a player is to drop out again in the first half, Then the match is forfeited by the player dropping out unless both players agree to give it another go. (be sportsman like, its nice to give another chance for either team to win fairly).
- If match is in third quarter with lead to any player and a drop out/rage quit occurs, team winning at that stage gets the win. This will make sure that whether it is a legit drop out or a rage quit, the person winning must be protected with their lead as it would not be fair for them to start the whole match again having had a lead late in the game. Again though, if its early in the third quarter and both players agree it was a legit drop-out, then use some initiative and discuss possibly re-starting the match. Both players must agree on this.
- As would be the same (as third quarter) for the fourth quarter however the team leading gets the win.

Finals -

Top four play out finals as seeded -
1 v 4.
2 v 3.
Players to pick a team then play a best-of-three series.
For example:
Seeds first and second get 2 home games in the series (if neccesary)
Game 1 - (1st)MiiRa (home) vs (4th) Cha0z (away). MiiRa wins 100-99
Game 2 - (4th)Cha0z (home) vs (1st) MiiRa (away). Cha0z wins 100-99
Series tied 1 - 1.
Final Game - (1st)MiiRa (home) vs (4th) Cha0z (away). MiiRa wins 100-99
*If MiiRa won game 2, not neccessary to play Final game.*

Same format will follow for 2 vs 3 with 2 getting the home court advantage.
In Grand final, Team with more accumulated points throughout the previous final matches, gets home court advantage. (In this case MiiRa accumulated 299 points).


Making match write-ups -

It is encouraged to create a thread about a match you had in the NBA 2K10 results section. Include players, teams selected, Final score and a match write-up made of highlights from the game. Including Screenshots/Stats/Video is optional but would be fun to see.

Prizes -

Quite Simple.
Ladder Champion - Choice of 3000 Microsoft points or 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Code.
Ladder Runner-up - Choice of 1500 Microsoft points or 3 Month Xbox Live Gold Code.

NOTE* Any disputes made by any player will be dealt with by me or Legiz. Do not hesitate to ask us a question at any time. ALL DISPUTES MUST BE BACKED UP WITH PROOF. MAKING ACCUSATIONS ABOUT SOMETHING WONT MEAN ANYTHING UNLESS IT IS BACKED UP BY EVIDENCE. A screenshot/Video would be an acceptable form of evidence and will be looked at and taken into account if presented.
